The master chef, Mr, Ito was exceptional. I have traveled several countries with well-known gastronomy including France one month ago and Italy 2 weeks ago. Food at Chalet Ivy was by far the best. It should be on the Michelin star restaurant list.

Located in Niseko, within 22 km of Niseko Annupuri International Ski Area and 16 km of Niseko Annupuri Hot Spring, Zaborin provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as... Everything was amazing at Zaborin. The snow view was beautiful and surreal. Room price included both breakfast and dinner. Unlike some meal inclusive resorts, the food quality here was superior and on par with what you would get at top-tier restaurants. The service is also impeccable. All the staff we met were amazing and epitome of Japanese service.

Ryotei Hanayura has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Noboribetsu, 45 km from Lake Toya. This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and a housekeeping service. Our stay was wonderful. The stay was the best. They were super kind and we loved having small (Japanese) conversations with them. Furthermore, we especially loved the futon beds, the lovely onsen facilities, the food, and the location. It was situated close by Jigoku Dani and hiking routes.

Tsuruga Resort offers luxurious accommodation and hot-spring baths by Lake Shikotsu. Massage services and a fitness centre are on offer. The spacious rooms include a flat-screen TV and seating area. Really nice resort, beautiful room, excellent (and not too heavy) dinner, plus good and varied breakfast spread. There is an excellent harp performance in the evening (and marshmallow toasting). The resort also has vending machines (beer and soft drinks), a pastry shop and a bar, plus a great gym (with gym wear and shoes which can be borrowed). The onsen facilities are excellent. The room private outdoor bath is also superb. The staff are all super nice. There is also a free shuttle service so you can go there even without a car.
