Fukuichi, hotel in Shibukawa

Located in the tranquil forest at the edge of the town, Fukuichi brings 2 hot spring baths and 3 open-air baths for private use. There is a spa, sauna and karaoke facilities.

This is a traditional Japanese hotel in a cute off the beaten path town. The bed, table and chairs were low to the floor. Fortunately they had a sofa as well. The room was huge, the location was close to all the touristy attractions. The people were friendly. We were very pleasantly surprised.

As usual great dinner, this time in the tatami room and not the restaurant, made it even better. It doesn't feel crowded even though a lot of rooms were reserved. Onsen was perfect. A must stay in the Takasaki area.

The room was amaizing! It was very traditionally japanese and some amaizing sweets and tea were left in the room for us to enjoy. The onsen was great and relaxing and the breakfast that was included in the booking was very delicious and healthy. Very nice view from all rooms as well!

A very interesting concept. Two bedrooms and toilet/shower on ground floor. Dining, kitchen and TV areas on the upper floor. A spare bedroom (tatami and futon) on the upper floor. The children loved it! They cooked breakfast and bantered at the dining area. Layout facilitates interaction.
