Situated in Jozankei, 27 km from Sapporo Station, Jozankei Onsen Yurakusoan features accommodation with a spa and wellness centre, free private parking, an open-air bath and a shared lounge.

What a wonderful experience staying at JOZANKEI Onsen Yurakusoan. The Onsen in the room was great! The public Onsen was great and the private Onsen were great!! The food served at breakfast and dinner was bountiful and there were extra snacks and late night free ramen supper around the hotel. It was relaxing and tranquil. The surrounding town is nice and small, a few convenience stores and food stalls, a small waterfall and just beautiful scenery. We went during winter and was able to take in the beautiful snowy landscape. It was surprisingly easy to get to via the public bus from Sapporo station

The staff were really helpful. They were very understanding of my need for a private bath as i have arm tattoos, and were responsive in helping my secure a private room. The room we stayed in was massive, and the breakfast was really delicious! The amenities provided like the toiletries were great.

Jozankei Daiichi Hotel Suizantei, hotel in Jozankei

Featuring traditional Japanese-style rooms in serene surroundings, Jozankei Daiichi Suizantei is situated just 4.2 km from Sasaki Fruit Farm. It offers hot-spring baths and massage services.

I had the opportunity to experience the Japanese way of life, and the service was excellent. We encountered a loud Chinese tourist, and the staff thoughtfully offered us a quieter area to enjoy. The Ryokan experience was superb, especially the room with a private onsen, providing a perfect opportunity for intimacy with my spouse.

The room is significant in traditional Japanese style, you can enjoy everything you expect from an onsen hotel in Japan. The big onsen is really relaxing especially on a snowy day.

Everything about the hotel. My first time experiencing Ryokan and it was wonderful. Unlike the review, quite a few staff at the reception area were able to speak English and they are friendly to foreigners. The outdoor onsen was great and with adequate privacy. Room was a bit too warm during winter with the heater turned on. There are timing for free beer and sakes, sochu etc. It's very worth it if you enjoy drinking.
