Situated in Edinburgh and with EICC reachable within 2.5 km, The Lane Hotel features a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. Everything. After 2 weeks driving around in Scotland, I can say this was the best hotel we experienced. You can walk to the city centre or take a bus. The bed is super comfortable (best one we had). The room is well decorated and big enough. And the staff is very friendly and professional. Go the pub next door, you won't be disappointed :) In short: we loved it.

Located in Newton Mearns in Glasgow, Southside district, Parklands Hotel & Country Club is 10 miles from Glasgow city centre. The receptionist (Ron! Give this man a raise please) is the kindest, funniest and most lovely Scot I came across here, maybe even the most lovely person of the UK, we had such a warm welcome by him, definitely an amazing way to kick off your stay! The other staff is also very very helpful and amongst the kindest I’ve ever come across in my years of traveling. Well that is just the beginning, now come the rooms. The decor is absolutely amazing, super warm and cozy. The bed is absurdly comfortable and big and the bathroom is extremely clean and modern. The corridors are clean and look very safe because they’re well equipped with a lot of firedoors, there’s carpet and look very safe and cozy just like the room.

Anbefales! Koselig, rent, godt utstyrt, usjenert, eget boblebad, badekåper, Prosecco og frokost på døren. Perfekt!

Set in Edinburgh, Haymarket Apartments offers free WiFi and city views, a 4-minute walk from EICC. Each apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave, toaster and coffee machine. Decoration is outstanding and the friendly welcome was very much appreciated. Alastair gave us several tips and indications of good restaurants in town. His availability to solve a little problem was also perfect and responsive. We can only recommend this experience.
