Situated in Kolinkylä and with Koli National Park reachable within 12 km, Maatilamatkailu Jänisvaara features express check-in and check-out, soundproof rooms, a private beach area, free WiFi and... The cottage was absolutely adorable and it had everything one would want, a little kitchen, a comfortable bed in a tiny bedroom, and a sauna. We heated the sauna every night. It also had a washer which was great considering we had been on the road for some time and it was nice to be able to do some laundry. It even had a cute little Koda which we used to grill some hot dogs. It was so very quiet and we loved it, no interstate traffic or flights overhead.

I enjoyed the breakfast as well as the location of the breakfast hall. The location of the resort is wonderful. I liked seeing the frozen expanse of the immense lake and can only imagine its sheer beauty in summer.
