Rooms are a little small, but super cute and comfortable. With all there is to do in the area, we didn't spend much time in them, so it was never an issue.

Great location just outside the noise of town and is a great base camp for day trips in all of the eastern Upper Peninsula (St. Ignace, Mackinac Island, Kitch-iti-Kippi, Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, Sault Ste. Marie and Soo Locks, Museum of Ojibwa Culture, Narnia Trail) as well as spectacular fall leave viewing. I loved morning sunrise walks on the shore of Lake Huron just 1 block away. Hosts are super friendly and very helpful before and during our trip to find great spots to visit and restaurants to enjoy.

There was nothing, absolutely nothing that I did not like about this property!

My favorite thing about staying at the Moose Wood Inn is it is homey and comfortable and clean. The owners have gone to Great Lakes with very special touches in each room. We stayed in the owl room and it was absolutely charming.

We had a wonderful experience. The owner called us to let us know that our room was ready ahead of check in time. The room was very clean and decorated beautifully. The bathroom looked like it had been updated and the shower was great.

The Moosewood Inn was by far our favorite place to stay in all of the traveling we've done over the last few years! The room was so cozy and comfortable! The decor was over the top. Every detail was attended to! The owners, Nicole and Brian, were amazing. There is absolutely nothing we would change about the room, the coffee bar, the bathroom, the massage/heat recliner!! Even the outside was decorated. I would recommend this place to anyone - couples, families, singles. We can't wait to go back.

Our only minor (very) complaint was a slightly slippery shower floor - a concern for both men in the group due to health issues.

Inn was exactly as described. It had the look and feek of a cabin in the north woods. Owner was pleasant, friendly and suggested the restaurant all 4 of us agreed was the best dinner (by far) of our entire trip.

There is nothing I would change.

We will definitely stay at the Moosewood Inn again. The rooms are exceptionally clean, well decorated and cozy, beds are comfortable, and the little extra features were welcoming. Their prices were very fair. Great location as it is not far from.Mackinaw Island, Lake Huron, and the St. Ignace casino.

Minor nitpick is that it’s slightly difficult to park in front of the room when surrounded by large SUVs, but there are plenty of other spaces should that occur.

Moosewood Inn is 1000% better than the major chain “suites” we have stayed in. The cabin theme was super cute, the room was very clean and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. We couldn’t even hear any noise from the surrounding rooms. The king suite was very roomy while the queen room was compact, but they both have refrigerators, large bathrooms and a shockingly clean coffee maker. The location is slightly away from the main tourist area but not far and it’s also close to Castle Rock and a casino. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if we’re ever up this way again.

We absolutely loved everything about this place! We chose this place to stay for our anniversary weekend and would recommend it to anyone. The owners were so inviting and keep the place immaculate. They even left a "Happy Anniversary " card for us in our room! We definitely will be back!
