Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We’re currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil, and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandChanging towels could be provided and slightly improved the cleaning. As it's a cottage you can't expect it to be luxury so it's acceptable.
Friendly host and beautiful quiet location, just next to dunes. Walking distance to the village and to the beach. You need to keep in mind that acessing to the beach is only possible for active people. It can be difficult to reach it when not fit enough. You need to go down and up through dunes which needs heavy hiking.

TurkeyMe and my wife visited this bungalow in early June and we had an incredible experience. The hotel owner Oktay and his family are friendly and incredibly hospitable. From the moment we arrived we felt like at home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Despite the small size, the bungalow are cozy and comfortable, providing all the necessary amenities such as warm water, oven, electric kettle, air conditioning and a private bathroom. Everything is clean and in good condition. Also it is possible to make a barbecue right near the bungalov. Turkish breakfast was awesome. There is a choice: you can enjoy it on the bungalov balcony or at the dining area. The bungalov is located at the edge of stunning pine forest. In a 20-minute walk you can reach famous sandy dunes. Witnessing the sunset there was an absolute highlight of our trip. Also there is a village of Patara nearby, there you can find market and cafes. Finally, near dunes there is a nice sand beach with all amenities. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Oktay and his family for providing such a wonderful stay. It was the perfect getaway from the everyday life. We highly recommend this bungalow retreat to anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable stay in a beautiful natural setting.

United KingdomIt was all very lovely!
The Bungalows are very cosy and located in a quiet area. It is a bit difficult to reach them from Patara if you don’t have a car, but it is 100% worth it! Close by there are the dunes, from which you can watch beautiful sunsets and walk down to Patara beach. The small village is also cute and restaurants are great. The property has everything you need for a short stay. A special shout-out goes to Oktay, who was a fantastic host and made our stay super nice. very friendly, gave us fantastic tips on places to go, and helped us enjoy a well-needed holiday. Breakfast was also great! 100% recommend.

GermanyThat we only stayed 4 nights
All around just amazing, we loved the bungalow the opportunity to cook and BBQ, our little terrace and that it was so close to the amazing natural beach, the biggest dune and in short driving distance to Pinara and Saklıkent. The best of all is the heartwarming host the hospitality and welcome is very special and the breakfast more than you can wish for. If you fancy a simple holiday away from any hustle with unique service, this is your spot. We will recommend this to all our friends and hope to have the pleasure to stay there again. 5 stars from us

United KingdomIf I was staying longer it would be better to have some additional equipment in the kitchen. When you are staying out of summer season just check if breakfast is included or not, in case Booking has automatically added it. My queries were happily resolved 😀
I liked the location of the bungalows, on the quiet road to the sand dunes and about 25 minutes’ walk up from the village. It was very quiet during the day and nighttime, with a lovely outlook from the little deck to the pine trees. I received a nice welcome from the hosts who offered me lovely fresh fruits and were friendly. I found the bungalow to be comfortable for the two-night stay, with a generous breakfast. Thank you all very much for a lovely stay. I enjoyed the peace and quiet, walking on the beach and returning to the cosy bungalow. Thank you!

GermanyIts not for people looking for entertainment or luxury. Perfect for us, but maybe not for everyone.
We just loved the peace and the family who runs it. We kept extending our stay and ended up staying five nights there instead of one.

TurkeyHot water was’t hot enough, between cold and warm. Living room and bathroom weren’t so clean as we saw hair strands from previous guests. No curtains in the bedroom side to block sunlight at early morning.
Fresh environment surrounded by trees. Good hospitality and very nice breakfast. TV, wifi and air-con working fine, mini kitchen is equipped enough.

United Kingdomnothing to complain about at all.
secluded, creature comforts included Wi-Fi, air con and even a tv for background. very beautiful setting, of a high standard yet still rustic and back to nature. hiya was exceptional and very accommodating but not intrusive. 15 minutes to Patara village and 10 minutes walk to the Patara sand dunes. Typical Turkish breakfast served in your own private veranda. will definitely stay here again.

ItalyI really enjoyed Oktay's place, even not having a car (highly recommend it) was not a problem, because I got a bike :) or Oktay took me to the village with his motorcycle.
The breakfast was excellent and I could order it any time I wanted. The location is a bit far from the seaside (15 - 20 minutes of walk), but still one of the closest as Patara does not have houses near the beach. And I also loved staying in the middle of forest and very close to sand dunes.

ItalyInternet was a bit slow
I loved everything a lot, the bungalow is very comfortable, a big living room with a small kitchen, a big bed on the top and a perfect balcony for eating outside. The breakfast was perfect too (rich and varied), the owner took it to my balcony every morning. It is a very silent and relaxing place, very close to the beach of Patara. I will certainly go again.

GermanyThe location is very close to the sand dunes, which is perfect! But I would suggest making sure you have a car when you book this stay - I relied on walking and Oktay’s kindness to drive me around with his motorbike because it is 1.5-2km away from shops.
Oktay and his family were amazing hosts at the Bungalov. I couldn’t believe how picturesque the actual accommodation was, but their hospitality is what put me over the top. From help with rides and groceries to fresh fruit breakfasts for me every morning (I’m vegan, but they offer a traditional Turkish breakfast to other guests!) and just lovely conversations - I felt at home as soon as I arrived. I’m already planning to see how soon I can return!

Russiathe property does not have any territory adjacent to it, these are just 4 bungalows with a tiny facility that the owner uses to cook you breakfast when he visits in the mornings. Bed will only work for an average tall person and the pillows are too tall and hard. The property is located by the dirt road that leads to the dunes. it is very busy and dusty during evenings as lots of tourists come to see the sunset to the dunes. The beach is 5 minutes drive and it’s nice sand beach, but the entrance fee is overpriced. It was 180 per 2 per day a few days ago. It also works from 8 am to 8 pm only due to the nesting of an endangered turtle species.
the bungalows are cozy with small private terraces, the owner is nice and works hard to be helpful. The breakfasts were basic but nice overall with fresh fruits, bread, cheese and Turkish coffee. The property is located in a walkable distance to the sand dunes but a bit far/not walkable distance from the beach and the village, but ok if you have a car. The village has a few dining places and a small shop. Nice sunset view from the dunes.
