Breakfast and all our meals there were delicious. The buildings and grounds are gorgeous and quite special. Yoga and other classes were great. Spa was awesome-I especially enjoyed the sauna and cold plunge.

The only thing I could say is about 50% of the staff aren’t very friendly the other 50% are super helpful, friendly and accommodating. I’ve read some of the older reviews and other guests have noticed the same thing. When I was sitting by the pool, No one came to get my order (twice) and I always had to go up to the bar to get a menu, and no one came to ask me what I thought of the food and then I’d have to ask for the bill myself. I felt like I was annoying people by asking them when I wanted to order food. I think for a five star Place that’s not okay. If they worked on this, they would get five stars from me.

The whole place is absolutely beautiful! A Truly stunning resort. Beds very comfortable The Spa was spectacular. Food was fantastic! Best risotto of my life!

Quite pricey overall. The restaurant was expensive. Expect to spend $100 USD on dinner and light drinks for two. That said breakfast is included and delicious. The spa services were very expensive as well.

The property and facilities were absolutely incredible. I felt like I was in an Indonesian resort paradise. Gym and yoga classes are included for a well rounded experience. The food was excellent. The spa and spa staff were even better. You have the ocean on one side with an infinity pool overlooking the waves, and the jungle on the other side. Unbeatable

I did not like my room location - far off in the back of the property (it’s not even visible in most photos shown). I tried to change upon arrival but they did not have many offerings for a solo traveler that were not bigger villas or suites. I did not like the darkness of my garden room and the heavy bleach smells every cleaning. I felt that there was a worn feeling in many areas - restaurant chair cushions stained and sometimes wet and overly worn towels. I also was disappointed there was no beach, like photos shown! I was looking forward to that the most when I booked. Finally, I wish the restaurant and bar staff were more proactive. I sat at the pool for 3 days and whenever I wanted something, I had to get up and go to the bar or restaurant to order. There was plenty of staff and not many guests, so would have liked them to be more proactive…I would have purchased more if they were.

The Bali/zen vibe of the property carries throughout. It is very relaxing and isolated. My favorite part of the stay were the daily morning yoga classes with Adrienne in the outdoor pavilion. Her level of expertise matched the reputation of Coralina.

It’s super minor I just would have liked the staff to be a bit more attentive with people by the pool. I spent a whole day on a sun lounger and not once approached if I wanted drinks or food. It wasn’t by any means busy to be able to do this hourly even.

The staff on reception were amazing. Really went above and beyond. The property is beautiful and is perfect for a real zen experience. It overlooks the sea and just so delightful hearing the waves in the background. Food was nice enough. Breakfast was made to order. The beach club bar was lovely for an early evening drink. Loved the bath robes. There’s not much around the hotel in terms of a grocery shop as it’s out of town so bring anything you might want/need eg snacks, Powerades etc

Exquisite property with fabulous ocean views plus the relaxing setting of the lush greenery. Wonderful customer service, beautiful spa and excellent food. Highly recommend and look forward to my next stay. It feels like you are in Bali but without the long flight from the states.

The choice of juices for breakfast was limited. There was no orange juice or pineapple juice. Only watermelon and passion fruit was available. I did not like either one. That was a minor issue....The breakfast itself was very good and brought to the table in less than 15 minutes. I ordered a frozen strawberry daiquiri one afternoon. It was $12 USD and not very good and was only maybe 5 ounces. The road from Bocas town to the resort is in serious disrepair. But, they are working on it and hopefully it will be fixed soon.

.The breakfast was very good and served to order. I did not see exactly what I wanted, so they made a special order of a mix of the options that were available. The dinner menu was limited for my taste. However, what I did order was very good. I just did not like a lot of the items on the menu, but that's just me being a meat and potatoes person. I had a hamburger for a late aftermeal meal by the pool. It was exceptional as were the fries. There was a great spa facility and small pool in the jungle a short walk inside the resort. It was a lovely area and very relaxing. The staff at the reception area were outstanding. They handled everything from taxi pickup and drop off to arranging tours. Those ladies were on top of their game!

Sone waiting staff not very attentive and focussed. Feel they could do more to advertise activities available (there is a list but not very complete). The access road from bocas town is in poor state (as are most roads in the island) which makes travelling around quite tiring. Maybe should stress more than beach is not swimmable( great for surfing though).

Really beautiful gardens and location in the jungle. Lots of nature (monkeys, wide variety of bird including toucans, sloths) all visible from or close to hotel. Attractive sea views. Also very quiet. Facilities are good and well maintained. Jungle pool very relaxing! Food is very good.

It was honestly perfect, my only suggestion would be to add screens in the bathroom window so you can ventilate without bugs getting in.

La Coralina exceeded our expectations and was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The property is absolutely stunning and feels like you have teleported to Bali. Our room was spacious and had a lovely outdoor seating area. The infinity pool overlooking Paunch surf break is amazing. This is definitely a great place to stay if you are a surfer. We loved the included breakfast and every other meal we had was fantastic. I also really loved the free daily wellness activities and the spa/gym area is beautifully tucked into the forest where you will find another pool area. The staff were very kind and always anticipating our needs (ie leaving umbrellas outside our rooms when it was raining). I really did not want to check out. Highly recommend this hotel for a beautiful and relaxing stay in Bocas del Toro.

There is nothing that I didn’t like. When the road to town is ready the location will be even better.

One of the best hotels I have been to. The property is stunning, between ocean and thick forest. Personnel is extremely helpful and nice. Facilities are impeccable. The swimming pool in the jungle is magic. Yoga instructors are great, I particularly loved Adrianne’s classes. The food is really excellent. Really the most relaxing experience you can ask for!

For the price you would expect A LOT more service. I understand the concept of no room service, but not being able to deliver extra bottles of water (even if paid for) is completely absurd. and also only offering a coffee machine at the room but only putting 2 capsules a day doesnt make any sense. also for the price range makes no sense to have an empty mini bar. some of the staff were friendly and welcoming but the other half seemed really annoyed to be there. breakfast menu was also very limited!

The facilities and architecture are 10/10! Felt like we where in Bali, amazing place to disconnect, surf and relax. The hotels location is a bit off the crowd of bocas town, which is great, and right in front an amazing surf peak. the yoga studio and spa were super nice as well. rooms were clean and adequate. food quality was good, but since the hotel is far from the city the menu could have been more extensive. we ended up ordering sushi and pizza for delivery and going out just because the menu got boring
