Apartment is about 20 mins walk to centre OK in summer less so in winter however parking is easy to find in the centre (download Parka app to pay).

Large one bedroom apartment, big bathroom with large shower, washing machine and separate tumble dryer. Very clean and modern. Beds comfortable. Parking space included. You can access the apartment on arrival with your luggage directly from the underground car park (take the door labelled Stigahus from the garage and then the lift up). You need to retrieve the key fob from the key safe on arrival to activate the garage door/access the block. Ramp to car park is next to the Euro market shop. Communication is excellent from host. We had a great stay. Top tip if you are travelling in winter take ice grips for your boots.

The property is a large 1 bedroom apartment. Good facilities for a family of 4. Location excellent. We had a car and there is underground secure parking available.

Was a little hard to find. Construction in the area. Shower floor a bit slippery. Wish there was some Kleenex.

Location is very good. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Wonderful off street garage parking. Nice balcony.

Updates and modern. Felt safe with building security. Had a safe place to park our car. Beds were comfortable. Linens were very nice. Plug ins close to needed places. Host communicated well. His photos were especially helpful. Would highly recommend. Close to market and restaurants.

Has everything we need, owner/staff very responsive and helpful. Reasonable price as Reykjavík is very expensive. Easy walk to Main Street. Close to bus stop where tours , taxi pick up.

The only improvement I would suggest has to do with communication. We were not given instructions on how to enter (or even the apartment number) until we arrived. I had to call for this information. After that the owner was very responsive and easy to deal with. Also the address was wrong (4A not 4b)

Probably better to use the address of the garage rather than the actual building address to make it easier to be spotted - the actual entrance is easier to access from the garage location.

The location is close to everything. The apt has decent size and utilities. Just a bit confused tofu d the building.

Fantastic location. Large, clean, well equipped and comfortable apartment. We were a family of 5. Short walk to the water where you can walk into town and see the sights. Met with the owner by chance at the end of our stay who was very friendly and kind. The free underground parking with direct lift to the apartment was a plus as it was paid parking on the street. Perfect if you want to hire a car and see sights outside of Reykjavík. Big budget supermarket one street away (called bonus) and small supermarket in the same apartment building if you need a cold drink. The beds were very comfortable, the main bedroom had a memory foam mattress and ergonomic pillows so we slept very well. There are 3 bedrooms with double beds. The kitchen is well equipped and clean and had basic amenities such as dish washer tablets, salt and pepper etc. There was a large television that you can stream content from your telephone and there is good Wi-Fi available. Would highly recommend staying at the apartment.

Our host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Despite arriving early, he met us promptly and graciously stored our luggage, allowing us to start exploring right away. The location couldn't have been better—central and close to everything we wanted to see. The place itself was spacious and perfect for our larger group, with a full kitchen and a comfortable living room. It made our stay both convenient and comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great place to stay in a prime location!

The process of getting into the unit was a nightmare for me. Granted, my friend and I had just driven 8 hours through ice and snow in what was an unexpected June blizzard (yes, apparently that can happen-half the country’s ring road was closed for days!). I got to the apartment building and retrieved the key but didn’t have enough information about how to get past the initial security door. I suddenly realized to my dismay that the owner had left no contact number so I had no way to contact him. Eventually one of the residents of the building came in and showed me. They were not nice about it (probably annoyed with tourists). Likewise, the door to the unit itself had somewhat confusing instructions. Everywhere else in Iceland we had to wiggle the door handle and so I misunderstood the directions and couldn’t get in. The whole process took over an hour!

This apartment offers tremendous value for the right customer. It is in a real apartment building where locals live. Quality building and beautiful apartment. I even saw a peek of the water from the smaller bedroom window. It is away from the noise of the main tourist streets but still very convenient. My travel companion stayed right in the middle of the tourist area and could barely sleep for all the noise. I booked this apartment so we could put the rental car in the garage. It was lass than 10 minutes to walk to the main tourist sites, and a fun food hall was only a five minute walk. The apartment exceeded my expectations. Nice big rooms and modern bathroom with a washer/dryer. The decor was modern without much in the way of art,but I really ended up loving it. This was the last of 10 accommodations for this trip and one of my favorites.

The location was excellent, walking distance to the sea and to the centre, and to local shops. The apartment was large and had plenty of room for a family of 5. Our host was very responsive. Check in and out was straight forward.
