Nil, perfect in every way.

This place was beautiful. The renovated, modern dining room and communal area, and the room were gorgeous and very comfortable. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming. Communal dinner was great, fresh food, well prepared. Very very enjoyable. Kika the dog was the cherry on top. Loved our stay here, would have stayed longer if not on a time crunch doing the Camino.

It was difficult to cool the room with the windows open. We did not understand if there was A/C. The bed and pillows appeared new, but were firmer than expected. We noticed that that was a trend of all of the beds that we experienced in Spain.

Thomas and his staff were excellent! It was very helpful that Thomas is fluent in English. And the laundry service was fabulous! It was reasonably priced and much needed after walking all day in the rain when our items were wet. The food was good and all home made. It was difficult to cool the room, even with the windows open, and the bed/pillows were firm, but otherwise everything was excellent. They have a very friendly dog!

Very nice location directly located at the Camino. Nice Breakfast and Dinner and a great host. Just keep your doors closed or the chicken will find a way in😀

This property is a renovated rectory and barn. It is stunning! Thomas is a wonderful host and chef! The rooms are clean and some have a swing and lovely view from your private balcony. This is a wonderful property that we highly recommend.

Nothing to not like, it was a perfect stop on our Camino

Beautiful place, on the Camino, rooms were gorgeous, dinner was delicious (it's communal and there is not choice on the menu, but owner talked us through it and accommodated those who don't eat meat, for example) Breakfast was even better, good range of food, freshly cooked eggs, lovely bread, lots of everything. Some of our party wanted to leave early, this was also accommodated with fruit and bread in a bag.

This was my last "night on the trail" as I was e-biking from León to Santiago de Compostela. I wasn't sure where I was going to stop, but I knew I wanted to find something rural. Earlier in the day, I had stopped at a hotel also with the word "Rectoral" in it that was very nice. So, mistakenly thinking the name means the hotel is part of the same family, booked this place as it was only a convenient forty-minute ride from where I was in Meire (looks like a town worth spending some time in, btw). Arrived somewhat late and was still able to get a nice warm dinner that was lovely, breakfast the next day was yummy as well. The owner (sorry, forget the name!) and family were very friendly, and the place has a calm feel to it. My room was exactly as I had hoped, spacious and opened up to a nice view of a field. I had an e-bike that needed charging and that was easily accommodated. Last but not least, they have a professional greater (their doggy) who was super cute and loves his guests!

Could hear traffic quite loudly at times but ear plugs worked well.
