Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomRoom could have done with tea or coffee making facilities. However, this probably isn't the Seville way as it is big on cafe culture!
Location of the hotel is ideal for walking to all the main sights. The ambience of the hotel and surrounding area with all the local cafes, bars, and restaurants. The hotel room was clean and modern, and there was plenty of room for the two of us.

United KingdomThe windows whilst pretty, they were a bit awkward The bathroom (well ours) was quite big as was the shower, however a hook to hang the shower head would've been great so that you can wash your hair with both hands not just one.
The property looked exactly like the pictures. The reception staff were very friendly and always on hand if you needed a question asked. The lift to upper floors The smoking area on the roof Air conditioning Close to everything

BelgiumOur room had only one window facing an extremely narrow dead end street. There was not overlooked but we didn't have any day light and the artificial lights in the room were not intense enough to compensate. So the room was nice in the evening but staying there in the day was not an option.
Convenient location near Sevilla monuments and park, room nicely furnished and large bathroom, very nice staff

ItalyIf you are a light sleeper, you might want a more expensive option as the windows are not really normal windows and you can hear every noise from the outside. However, it is a quiet location so you would mostly just hear when someone passes by to enter their rooms etc. The room we stayed in was not bright at all either, but if you're just there to sleep, that really doesn't matter. Would be nice to have in the room: Small table with chairs Fridge Kettle and mugs
The hotel is at a very good location, cute restaurants, cafes are around and it is near the cathedral and alcazar as well. Very good value for the price. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Clean room and comfortable bed. They also cleaned the room every day and changed towels as well. I recommend it to all who don't look for a luxurious stay, who travel on a budget but still would avoid hostels. It is quite an authentic experience. Would have been nice to have breakfast there as well, but you can always find places around for that.

TurkeyThere was no window in the room.
The location is really good. Staff is nice. The patio was super cute. Roon was clean. Overall it was a good experience. Ps: Since there is no parking in the hotel we needed to park in one of the private parking facilities. There are several options close by. If you are willing to walk a little there are cheap options also.

CanadaNo view and the lighting in room could be improved.
Quaint place where (most) rooms face inwards toward the old Spanish centre courtyard. Ours was in an older section, little removed from the rest, no view, clean but with poor lighting. Good location. Almost right across is a flamingo dance exhibit that should not be missed. Very personable with a maximum of 30 - 32 persons.

United KingdomSome 'mod cons' might fall short but this is a traditional riad-style hotel in the narrow twisty lanes of Seville's old town. It is what it is ... and has to be appreciated in that context.
A welcoming, friendly, helpful hotel staff and an affordable stay within a few strides of the cathedral, historic places to visit and some excellent eating places. Our room, albeit fairly basic, was one of the cleanest we've stayed in ... and the sparkling shower room was an absolute joy.
