I like the combination of old monastery features nicely combined with an modern design. The breakfast was superb with plenty of local products. The room was very spacious with bed and pillows firm, i had a very nice sleep

Was a little higher price but we stayed over new years. Might be affected by that. Window was very small and hence only limited day light(but it is a historic building, so not much to do about that)

We could not get to the carpark as the city center was closed off for the San Silvester run. We had spotted on Google Maps that the road was closed so we phoned reception to verify this with them. They told us the city center would be closed after 4 ‘o clock. When we got there we found a roadblock and were told to park away from the center by the police unless we had provided the licence plate number beforehand to get free access. We were not told by the hotel to provide the number of our a car licence plate. The people at reception were not aware of this.

Beautiful historic Parador style setting. Free carpark and breakfast included. Fantastic value. Very spacious rooms beautifully finished.

Excellent location - easy short walk into the town centre. The room was a good size although the shower room was quite compact. Breakfast was fine and served from 8am so we were able to get our early start and eat breakfast.

Everything from the entrance into the courtyard to the details in the room felt special. It was quite a treat, as I was walking the Camino. The location was great for sightseeing as well as shops and restaurants.

Liked everything. Identifying the pedestrianised road to get to the hotel's parking needs a little research if you are to avoid having to drive around the area a couple of times before you take the plunge to drive up what appears to be a road you should not be entering.

If you want to stay in a less expensive, but special, hotel to the exceptional Leon Parador, this is the hotel for you! Central with secure parking. Nice large rooms, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, all set in a historic building with inviting courtyard. Breakfast was varied, fresh and plentiful. The key question is would I stay here again? The answer is yes, without hesitation!

Needs a coffee/ tea lounge to withdraw to after a good meal.

Excellent room. Well serviced. Excellent restaurant, delicious food. We also had a live musical event with a taster menu,which was exceptional. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is part of the Basilica San Isisdoro,which made it special. Very central location. Reception and restaurant staff were very attentive to us.

The breakfast was rather mediocre, but everything else made up for that.

The cloisters setting was magnificent. The location was excellent and near the center of everything. Parking was free and on property, a real plus. The room was spacious and comfortable.
