“The buildings which comprise this property are stunning. Old and yet beautifully maintained, if a little twee in their presentation in places. Beautiful gardens too. The location is fabulous, with great views over scenic countryside. Our room, which was the one positioned above the entrance patio of the hotel, was fine - spacious enough for the two of us. Good value for money, in terms of a place to stay, but see below. The bathroom was well equipped, although it was not always possible to run hot water in the shower.”
