Location - walking distance to the lake with well equipped beach. Very clean, nice interior in the dining room. Good breakfast.

The hotel is not easy to find. A misunderstanding about the check in.

Confortable and clean room. Pleasant common areas and surroundings. A special mention for the two friendly and efficient ladies who prepare breakfast and maintain this place.

The only hardships was caused by the snow that was not cleared from our path which could have been expected after paying €160. I don't want to and cannot say anything else because the hotel was awesome otherwise, so this is more of a cautionary tale for others going there in the winter.

We loved this hotel. However, if you are going up there after a snowfall and you don't have a 4x4 car, good luck. There are 2 directions to come from, we tried getting up from the west and had to turn around after 3 failed attempts, getting stuck on the steep road in the snow. Not very good. I wish we were let know that in snowy weather, we need to approach from Nüpli lake's direction! Also we had to shovel the snow ourselves when we arrived as first guests that evening... BUT after this, the hotel exceeded all our expectations. We slept very well. I loved the view from the window. Everything is decorated very tastefully and the bed is comfy. The bathroom is big and luckily no shower cabin. The breakfast was PHENOMENAL, most beautiful breakfast buffet table ever and then we were prepared sunny-side ups with such a taste. The hosts are just the kindest people so all the initial hardships got overwritten very fast. The common room is also beautiful and we already want to go back, experience their terrace in a summer weather!

Our second night was ruined by some loud people on the second floor above us. Annoying sounds and moving the furniture in the middle of the night! 🤦🏼‍♂️ This of course is not the fault of the hotel, could happen anywhere. A bit more info of the services of the house would have been nice. There was a photo of a sauna in booking.com but it was not mentioned anywhere in the premises, and all the doors leading to the sauna were locked. There is no reception and at that time of the evening we would have appreciated sauna, we didn’t think it was worth while to start contacting the host via booking.com app etc. We found a bit strange that the otherwise modern bathroom did not have a shower wall or a shower curtain. So the entire bathroom was wet after a shower, and also the water splashed against the wooden bathroom door. We tried to preserve the door by covering it with a towel, but it won’t last if there’s nothing done to the issue in the future. We didn’t really mind it, but we found it odd.

Very clean and tidy facilities. The room was a positive surprise, compared to expectations from the photos. The photos give a too dull impression. Breakfast was better than average, compared to the hotels of this price range in Estonia. The waffles were a nice touch 🤗 Also a chef cooked us an ”English breakfast” for starters, and we carried on to the buffet from there. It was nice that our dog was allowed to stay, though we had to pay the extra fee by cash.

Water in bathroom/shower has smell to it, but based on comments for other venues in the region, it common, so not a big deal.

Very cosy, warm and well furnished hotel. Great and tasty breakfast: omelette, selection of cheeses/meat, cereals, fresh waffles. Great location close to Ottepää. Helpful and friendly staff.

Pillows could have been firmer, however, for one night it was totally okay.

The hostess was lovely and welcoming. In the morning we got a good and filling breakfast (omelette, waffles etc were provided). Free parking available.
