The shower drain was clogged and the toilet seat was broken. We also, unfortunately, experienced rowdy guests during our stay, but cannot fault the hostel for that. Slight noise from the street could be heard

Please change the old mattress, even u added a soft sponge on it, that can't give the body any support. I felt very sore after a night. Maybe add a reminder of the silence timing to all the guests it's a good idea. Since there's no reception at the night, I need to directly complain to the noise guest.

The location is directly in the centre, near by the viru gate.

Not enough wall power sockets. You should have at least one for each bed. There were only 2 in a room with 5 beds.

It is pricy for a room (not a dorm). I unfortunately booked a non-refundable room then checked prices for a hotel room (with breakfast and private toilet) and the price difference for 2 nights isnt huge. Hence, I regretted that as this room has a shared toilet and no breakfast. My drink was removed from the refrigerator after making sure labelling the item.

For a backpackers hostel, i didnt expect the touch of chocolate and nicely arrange towel on my bed. The bed is comfortable, location is excellent; however, have a somewhat scary lift.

The bed headboard creaked very loudly when you touched it with your head. Not so good when you forget this in the night and lean back while sitting up in bed. There was no soap in the bathroom when we arrived but it was after staff had gone home so there was nobody to ask. A bit important especially for a shared bathroom. It turned out that the street is one of the busiest tourist streets so it was a lot of noise and music late into the night. The hostel has a jar of free earplugs at reception. We slept fine with earplugs but be warned if you are sensitive for sound especially in summer. We needed to keep the window closed for the sound even with earplugs but it was then very hot. There was a fan in the room probably for this reason. It would have been very nice to have a kettle on our floor. We were two floors above the main hostel and then it's a hassle to put on shoes and unlock the door and go out and lock the door and go two floors down and unlock the door and take off shoes and then make tea and then have to wait and drink it there when we wanted to just have some tea we could take to our room. No decaf tea or coffee options, something to consider? :)

It was clean and comfortable and had a good atmosphere. They did a good job to remind people with signs of how to respect the common spaces and quiet time. There is a common kitchen and some games and there are hairdryers and some other things to borrow which was useful. The bed we had was big and comfortable. We had a double room. The room was quite minimal but with tasteful furnishing and decorating and with nice lighting. It was easy to feel at home. It was nice to be high up off the street.

We arrived to Tallinn earlier and needed a place to store our luggage until the check in time. Our impression was that we can store our luggage at the location until the check in. There were no instructions sent to us with instructions how to get into the location. The hostel personnel could be reached by phone call only and we had Wi-Fi gadgets only... The instructions for the check in were sent out precise after 15:00 (check in time). If you need a place to store your luggage until the check in time you need to correspond with the hostel in advance (by email or in WhatsApp) and get the exact location of the place and instructions on how to get into the place.

It was an easy check in and easy check out. Elevator to our floor was a bonus! Right in the Old Town historical part of the City with a beautiful view on the old town buildings from our room! We spend many ours walking around and taking photos of the Old Town. It is very convenient to stay close to all the city attractions within walking distance. It was easy to order a taxi to the airport to the nearby lounge for the night pick up, the taxi is very affordable there and it was on time.

The lift does not stop at level 3,which is the second floor,so use the stairs and look for a door with a blue notice on it,if you get the wrong floor you may upset the neighbours. Can be a little noisy as karaoke bar only 100 metres away.

Having to remove shoes upon entering, up 2-3 flights of stairs. Because they have private rooms it's much less social and less likely to meet other travellers. Room the toilet was in was very small and could barely move and the since was in the next room.

The location is amazing and within the city walls of the old town. Large family room with a view of the walls and the Old House bar. All cooking facilities are available and you can use the laundry to wash and tumble dry clothes. We booked in advance by 6 months and the price was great value for money.

This is an old house and that means that for example the bathrooms smell a bit mouldy (didn't see any mould though and they are clean) and the airing for the bathrooms is really really loud which can be annoying when your room is close to them. When people talk in the communal area, you understand every word in your room. But those are all things that I think should be expected for that price and in order to change them, they would have to invest some money. They should get new beds though, the bed was really really uncomfortable. Overall though, I think this is exactly what you get for that price and they are friendly and helpful and offer all kinds of support.

The hostel is located on Viru street which is a perfect location. The room was nice looking and there is a communal area with couches, a kitchen with everything you could need and several bathrooms. The staff was super friendly and helpful and communication was easy. When travelling on a budget, this is a good choice.
