Great location inside the old town, clean and comfortable, fantastic size room for a family of four, the shared kitchenette and lounge area was an added bonus and staff great.

Breakfast was basic.

We had a perfect stay here. We were greeted by Maria's smile, who helped us with our bags and recommendations for restaurants and site seeing. Location was perfect in the old town. Our room was beautiful with a nice view of the ramparts. And on our way out, the woman at reception was also as warm and helpful as when we arrived.

Taanilinna hotel was perfect for me and my son and our 5 day stay in Tallinn. Location was excellent, just 200 yards from Viru Gate which leads into the market square. Staff were very friendly. Room was small but comfortable and warm. Shower had hot water and good water pressure. Breakfast was a real bargain at 12 Euros - excellent coffee, ham, cheese, herring, eggs, toast, sausages etc. It is really good value for money. It's not luxurious but we were comfortable and the location and value were paramount for us.

Wonderful hotel! The location is perfect, exactly next to the entrance of the Tallinn Old Town, allowing for easy access to every landmark within the old city. The staff is friendly and the room service is very tidy and clean. I especially admire the historical decoration and the antique wooden style of my room. It's like a museum, providing an immersive experience of Estonian history. Perhaps it's just something ordinary for locals, but it made me fall in love with this country as a visitor."

Curtains did not block out light-A light from the outside shone into our room, so black out curtains would be a great upgrade.

There was absolutely nothing I did not like.

The staff is just wonderful. Very helpful, very friendly, and really helpful when I spontaneously needed to change my booking due to some complications. Also, I got many tips about sites to visit in Tallin, supermarkets, guided tours, etc. The facilities are very nice,I had there everything I needed, not to mention that the interior is very pretty and cosy. I already recommended it to friends, and it's where I will stay when I come back to Tallinn.

There was nothing to dislike. The accommodation was exactly as described, and the location was better than I originally expected. I didn't expect to be in such easy walking distance of all the main tourist attractions in Tallinn.

This is the ideal location for a short stay in Tallinn. It is located in the very center of Tallinn Old Town and is centrally located to all the main tourist attractions, restaurants and shops. The staff at the hotel were always incredibly helpful with advice and knowledge of the local area.
