We loved absolutely everything about our stay! From the scenic drive into the property, to the walks and kayak trip from the beach we felt completely at ease at this beautiful homestead. The ability to walk to town allowed us to leave our rental car behind for a few days and feel truly immersed in our time in golden bay. We would love to visit again sometime :)

The Observatory Hotel Christchurch

Friendly staff w/ wonderful amenities in the hotel and surrounding campus (the hotel is part of an early 1900’s Observatory/University). There was a wonderful restaurant and cinema in the campus and the city Tram and Uber made transportation easy. Facilities were located across the street from a Botanical garden / Park as well.

Mount Cook Station Shearers Quarters Lodge

The location was absolutely superb. The Shearers Quarters Lodge overlooked Lake Pukaki with the Southern Alps and Mt Cook in the background. Just stunning! The facilities were great and bathrooms were very clean.The rooms were very cosy and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

The suite was absolutely fantastic, cozy and very comfortable, with a amazing garden view, great natural light, big spaces, Its equipped with everything we needed The location is great, it takes five minutes to get to the very heart of Ponsonby I highly recommend this property

A beautifully maintained 120+ year old house with modern pool, pool house and decks. Our first floor room had high ceilings, nice seating area with bay window looking out on pool area, very comfortable king sized bed, updated en-suite bathroom.
