I was shocked how nice this "Resort" was. Not a normal Holiday Inn Express this is a Resort. Very nice, quiet and clean resort. Very comfortable beds. Very convenient to fun: Casino, restaurant on site or nearby restaurants, walking into downtown Deadwood, close to outdoor theatre for movies/music, and convenient drive to Spearfish Canyon, Mt Rushmore, etc.

The event room was perfect! They were so accommodating. The history and design of the space fell in line with our interiors backgrounds. That made it even more of a perfect venue. Patricia and Charlie cheffed up a delightful dinner for us in the Rock Room. I will forever be hoping to find a local pizza that matches up. I appreciate that they strive to use local ingredients. Although this was a business event, I felt it was more of a bed and breakfast experience. A Thank you Patricia and Charlie!

They had just the right amount of furnishings. We were pleased to see a mini fridge and microwave as well as coffee, water and towels. Air conditioning was fabulous and self controlled so we could adjust as the day needed. Washrooms were clean and modern. Shower had shampoos and bodywash in them as well. Also air conditioned!
