We had an incredible week at Funny Lion El Nido! I want to express immense gratitude to the staff for their heartfelt hospitality. They do perfectly their primary work to take care about guests and everytime you pass the reception, the staff calls your name which makes your stay special. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and every morning we woke up to a magnificent view of the surrounding landscape. The restaurant was fantastic - we tried local dishes and cocktails, and they always were exceeding our expectations. Our stay coincided with our wedding anniversary, and it was simply magical. The staff created a romantic atmosphere for us by organizing a rooftop dinner with a breathtaking view of the sunset. The staff's heartfelt attitude and attention to details made our stay unforgettable. We felt like we were in the heart of paradise, and we're already dreaming of returning here next time.

While you may not engage directly with the locals, the peaceful coexistence with the village adds an authentic and enriching dimension to your stay.

Staff is amazing! The rooms views is breath taking! The location is perfect to be a bit outside of the town but still close. We also booked a tour with them and it was insanely well organized.

A real paradise. We stayed 4 nights and I was a bit worried we would start to feel too isolated by the end but actually I could happily have stayed a full week. The food is generally a good quality with a lot of different types of options- we had lobster, paella, grilled fish which were all delicious as well as good snack-y options at lunch. The views and sunsets are magical and the massages were pretty good- we had one every day. Staff are lovely. We didn’t do any tours from there as we had done them in the earlier days of our stay in the town centre but they offer all the main ones and, again in hindsight I would have skipped staying in town and done the tours from this hotel instead. Honestly, especially for the price, this is one of the best places I’ve stayed I loved it. It’s not necessarily luxurious, but the location and relaxing vibe are unbeatable and the bungalows are very private so you really feel switched off from the world when you’re there.

Great place! Nice rooms, clean and tidy. The food os good too and we ended up having dinner there for a couple of times. Nice views and friendly staff. They drove us down to hire a bike and to Vanilla Beach, which was included in the service. Recommended!

Last Frontier Beach Resort-Adults Only is a beachfront property set in El Nido, located within 8 km from Big Lagoon and 9 km from Small Lagoon. Everything. We stayed in lots of hotels on a 3 week trip and this was our favourite. - Beautiful sunsets - excellent location - very leafy - spacious honeymoon suite - staff were very friendly - poolside bar and restaurant is lovely

Offering an outdoor swimming pool, Buko Beach Resort is a beachfront accommodation set in Corong Corong, El Nido. Free WiFi is provided in all area. I can only recommend this small yet beautiful resort, that provides great view of the ocean and in the same time hospitality as you are staying in your own house. The staff were very responsive and every detail was up to the highest standarts. They organized on our request an exchange of vows, although they were not providing this service, and the venue and the dinner after were exactly as I pictured it, even more beautiful. The only negative comment I have is about the quality of the food, although we could see that the chef was going beyond to prepare the meals, the sauces were delicious and the presentation too. However, the ingredients were not of good quality, the meat for example, and I was missing more fruit, if I compare the resort with other there. So boss, do your part to match the price :) . However, overall I would stay again in this amazing hotel. Thank you for everything!
