Located on a volcanic mountain overlooking Milne Bay, Tawali Leisure & Dive Resort features a private beach, a swimming pool, a restaurant and a bar. Tawali is a fantastic resort for divers, snorkeling and travellers who just want to relax in a beautiful setting. The staff are amazing and the buffet style dinner experiences were 5 star: freshly caught seafood cooked to perfection. October, November, December is the best time for divers, but I recommend Tawali for a holiday any time. Will definitely come back.

Situated on a cliff-top terrace overlooking Tufi Harbour, this boutique resort offers 180-degree panoramic views. Such a pleasure visiting here for the weekend! The Tropic Air flight from Port Moresby that brings you straight to the resort gives breathtaking views of the terrain below. The resort is lovely, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff are friendly, attentive, and professional. We loved the little details such as them bringing popcorn to our room in the afternoon. The views of the fjords from the deck are beautiful, and the diving is incredible. There were only 4 of us here for the weekend and they took great care of us. We felt very pampered. The food was great; (I’d give it 8/10 for one overcooked fish and one serving of undercooked fries) but everything was always beautifully plated. It rained one day here but it felt cozy and relaxing and there was plenty to do: games, darts, ping-pong, pool, books, chilling… Definitely recommend visiting this place if you have a chance!
