We couldn't have been happier to stumble across this absolute paradise! From the moment you arrive you feel like you are meeting family. We loved the secluded beach, taking the kayaks out to explore the nearby islands, laying on the hammocks and sharing mealtimes with everyone. Our food was included in our stay and it was fantastic. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have the most incredible view of mount Kinabalu during sunrise. It was a real highlight of our travels in Malaysia and the perfect spot to avoid the crowds and appreciate the stunning scenery and local life. Don't hesitate to book!

The scenery was beautiful and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. There was an unforeseen issue with our room which they were very good about. The two restaurants were wonderful - the teppanyaki evening was superb and highly recommend. The snorkelling was decent and the kayaking was fun although you can just use the same equipment around the resort without cost.
Great location close to the sanctuaries. The environment in the resort is amazing, you can have a walk around and feel like in the jungle and take a rest around the pool. You can go bird watching or join a night walk, the staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very nice too. I totally recommend it.
-restaurant with Western options and for kids -location 10 min walk from Conservation center -grounds have lush jungle vegetation, even saw some urang utangs in the forest next to the swimming pool -resort feel with all costs added to the room, even drinks at the pool
Finished too early at 9.50am everything was put away. For a luxury resort should be later
Beautiful rooms nestled into a lush jungle setting. Comfortable beds and big rooms. All facilities are clean and well maintained. I really enjoyed laying on the porch hammock listening to the sounds of the jungle and looking for animals. We were lucking enough to spot 4 orangutans at the resort. This was the best hotel we stayed during our 2 weeks in Borneo.
Pool was nice, location to walk to rehab centers good. Staff helpful. Good WiFi. Relaxing. They are clearly doing up the resort - painting etc so will probably improve. Need to consider the environment - remove plastic straws and have a refillable water bottle
Very clean, looks luxury, high quality equipment, secure, very helpfull and friendly staff
Our stay at Borneo Beach Villas was an absolute delight. The villas were beautifully designed, offering stunning views of the ocean right from our balcony. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. We particularly loved the spaciousness of our villa, the well-maintained private pool, and the convenience of having a fully equipped kitchen. The resort's amenities, including the fitness center and spa, added an extra touch of luxury to our stay.
‘Secret’ location made the beach resort feel very special
