The staff at Cinnamon Wild Yala were incredible at every moment. From the security who helped take you to your room at night, to the friendly waiters and waitresses. Would highly recommend for a two day/ night trip for safari. Early check in for an additional payment helped us with awkward flight times. We got upgraded free of charge which made our stay extra special.

Yakaduru Yala is located on the buffer Zone of Yala National Park. It"s just 5 minutes away from the Yala National Park Entrance. Everything, especially the very kind and helpfull staff. Exactly the kind of lodge that you would like to stay when doing a safari. They help a lot the farmers around and explain you everything about their difficulties with elefants. Ask a lot of questions to the main guide, he is very knowledgeable. Thanks a lot guys!

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Four Chalets Yala is situated in Tissamaharama, 9 km from Tissa Wewa. Very nice place. Good value. Amazing room. It s tough to find a nice middle range hotel in Sri Lanka but this one is up there. Fast internet. Good breakfast (go with the Sri Lankan)

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a saltwater pool, garden view and a balcony, Kingfisher Beach Resort-Yala is situated in Kirinda. I had an incredible experience at Kingfisher Beach Resort, and I cannot recommend it enough! The owner, Shehan, is an exceptional host—kind, helpful, and incredibly talented. Not only is he a great chef who prepared the most delicious lobster and fresh fish, but he’s also a skilled therapist. After an amazing safari, where I was lucky enough to see a leopard and a bear, Shehan’s relaxing massage was exactly what I needed to unwind. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with clean and well-equipped rooms that provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. There’s a stunning natural saltwater pool within walking distance, and the beach feels like your own private paradise. Shehan’s knowledge of the wildlife is impressive, making the safari even more special. His passion for the animals and the surrounding nature is truly inspiring. I only stayed for one night, but I wish I had booked at least three! It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy fresh seafood paired with excellent white wine and cold beer, and immerse yourself in nature. Thank you, Shehan, for your hospitality and hard work. Hilton Yala Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and private beach area in Yala. 21 km from Situlpawwa and 22 km from Tissa Wewa, the property provides a terrace and a bar. Connected to the national park, excellent location and fabulous service by the entire team. Special shoutout to Prabuddha for his exceptional service!

Located in Tissamaharama, 15 km from Tissa Wewa, Leopard Reach Yala by Seven Angels provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The place was stunning, comfortable and lovely. We had the best BBQ of our lifes❤️ Silva (manager and guide) was a hidden gem of this place. He made us feel great and assured an amazing stay! King Reach also organized a great Safari where we could see a Leopard! Important: it is very rare to see a Leopard or Elefant (we didn’t see any) in yala at this time of the year. So remember it’s possible you come back just with some crocodile and monkey pics. Still it’s not the fault of the hotel or the Safari guide/driver the animals have enough food and water to stay in the bushes ! Thank you for this great experience!

We had our own front porch in a very peaceful private garden setting. The owner and host, Kapila, took care of all our needs, and arranged our full day safari for the next morning. He is a retired environmental journalist who knows plenty about all the SL national parks,especially Yala and the animals. We had an excellent safari driver and jeep. Kapila accompanied us on the safari which was a treat because he shared all his knowledge of the past, present and future of Yala, as well as all the details of every bird, mammal, reptile, insect we saw. The host family cooked us a most delicious homemade meal of rice and curry/fruits and cold beers. Just make sure you let Kapila know that you will want dinner beforehand, and anything else you want. I highly recommend boundary yala for your yala safari and stay. We enjoyed our time there and saw everything and learned a lot about the animals.

We loved everything about the Uga Chena Huts. The location is amazing with an elephant, monkeys and a range of other animals being seen around the property. The food was the best we have had - wonderful chef who changes the menu daily. The staff were exceptional, from our safari guide to the wait staff and room staff. They made our stay!
