Offering amazing views of Arenal National Park and volcano, The Royal Corin Thermal Water & Spa Resort features an outdoor swimming pool and spa. Wow... where to begin. My boyfriend and I went there to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary and The Royal Corin went above and beyond to make our experience incredible. I would put this resort in my top 3 best hotels for the staff and service alone. The staff had a "yes" attitude and made us feel very welcome and taken care of (they were honestly amazing from the doorman, reception, to the cleaners). The towel designs on the bed, the little notes, balloons, strawberries and chocolate, etc, were the little things that made me feel very special on my birthday! On an allergy note, the restaurants were willing to adapt the meals as I am gluten free. The breakfast buffet is not celiac safe but the chef will make you a separate breakfast (whatever you want). Shout out to Jonathan who was an amazing server at breakfast (he went out of his way to find me some GF cereal to eat so I wasn't left out). It's amazing that this resort doesn't have day pass guests and is also adult only. The main pool is a lovely hot temperature and the pool bar is super cool! They even let you order food from any restaurant, straight to the pool. The Junior Suite was spacious and had a nice view of the volcano.

Arenal Paraiso Resort Spa & Thermo Mineral Hot Springs is an exotic retreat that offers its guests a complete spa and wellness centre with massages, 2 saunas, and a fitness centre. Such an exceptionally beautiful property, the best part was enjoying the hot springs and swimming pools, and appreciating the beautiful nature around the pools. We loved seeing the local wildlife, hearing the birds, and seeing the resident iguanas which are more scared of humans so respecting the distance is important ~!! Vistas of the volcano {when clouds moved aside~!} The grounds are kept up very well with beautiful flowers and trees. The resort is well set up to accommodate many visitors with excellent breakfast offerings and restaurants so we did not need to go elsewhere for food.
