Chumbe island and its surrounding water wildlife are exceptional places of beauty. It feels like a very exclusive experience given the small amount of guests that can stay on the island overnight. We stayed for 3 nights over the New Year's holiday, and did really love the remote feel to our stay there. We also loved the food cooked for us every breakfast, lunch and dinner - everything so fresh and healthy and tasty. Also it's amazing that Chumbe is a not for profit resort, and so all proceeds go towards preserving the natural beauty of the island and its surrounding waters.

Our stay at the Boutique was really very relaxing. The resort has the best staff who are always kind and wants to help. I remember Antina and Shabaan and the team at the restaurant, AbdulRahman, Zwina and Ray. The food is fantastic and they make free entertainment show every other day and it is very amusing. The room is spacious and has beautiful view. I booked Excursions with their staff ( Yahya) and it was excellently managed. I also booked massage with them and their therapist, Jane was so professional. Thank you Maharaja Resort.

The best aspect of this hotel is its convenient location, which is not far from the Ferry Terminal. Additionally, the taxi service from Suleiman is reliable. The hospitality provided by Ta'leah, and Ms. Sylvnah Chan, the manager, was exceptional who worked hard to find another room which had a working AC, and tried to follow up on the missing purse.
