The hotel is kind of resort style even in the middle of the city. There is welcome drink that you can take with coupon start from tea, coffee, juice and even draft beer. Not so far from JR station. The room is big for 4 people and toilet and bathroom separate. The sink is outside, so if you travel with many family member, make it easier and no need to wait too long.

Classic but renovated big resort-style hotel. Comfortable installations, nice restaurants in the building, and a fantastic onsen. A little off from the old town, but nothing a short taxi ride can't solve.

The resort offered varied extras such as sake tasting, a fire pit, and of course extensive public and private baths. Also very quiet and comfortable rooms

The resort has hot bath in the room and there is also a private outdoor onsen. They provide free yoghurt and milk in the morning and afternoon. At night, free ramen is available.

The view was great, the beds were comfy, they gave us tickets to go to the main onsen which was amazing and they even rented us some snow shoes to go walking around the ski resort. Nice place to stay I recommend and I would come again.

The resort is beautiful, and the onsen is very enjoyable. As well as the public baths, there are private indoor and outdoor baths that we really enjoyed. The room was lovely and huge - yet cosy - with a stunning view of the mountains.

This Ryokan has a “luxury” and modern feel to it. It could easily be branded as Aman or a Rosewood Hotel since the upkeep and products / amenities used are of very high quality. The room was incredible and very tastefully designed; a mix between dark and light wood. Beds were super comfy, amazing Yukatas to wear around the hotel. Small private onsen and 2 semi private onsen with great Mountain View. Dinner and breakfast were incredible and only high quality and seasonal ingredients were used.
