Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. This is a piece of paradise. The chalet is very comfortable and well equipped and maintained. The restaurant offers excellent food options. The breakfast is amazing. I recommend staying here at least for three nights.

Our host was very nice even when we were getting lost she kept checking if we were fine. Room was nice, clean and had everything we needed. Amazing place to stay for families visiting the area, the hosts are outstanding and helpful and were also so kind to make our laundry and dry it too. The apartments is well equipped and has kitchen with facilities for cooking on your own. There is a lovely restaurant only 50m away as well as supermarket. Overall very recommended place on your trip in the Garden route.

One of the most beautiful places we ever been so far!! The view and the hive itself was stunning!! Its even better then on the pictures!! If you want a trip at the Garden Route you have to visit this place! But the most beautiful are the people there. They are so lovley and thankful, i appreciate it that the most!
