First off I would like to say that the staff members of Mora Hotel are all exceptional! They all went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best it could be. I've never stayed in a hotel where we were treated so kindly. Thank you! The hotel itself is also stunning. Everything is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is delicious and our family room was huge! The beds are comfy and our room was very quiet. We loved swimming in the beautiful pool and felt right at home right away. We would love to stay again!!

I just love this place. You can never find such a friendly and ready to help host. They are just so kind and humble. Always greet with a pleasant smile. Great value for money, comfy bed, very spacious room. Housekeeping was done daily and spotlessly clean. Definitely will stay again in my next visit.

Situated in Chiang Rai, 1.8 km from Wat Rong Khun - The White Temple, Doowall Hotel features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. From the moment we arrived, the staff were both incredibly friendly and attentive. Our bags were taken to our room and we were given an overview of the facilities and food options. There is free tea, coffee, water and some snacks at the reception kitchen, which is a really nice touch. The room itself… wow. We stayed in one of the lake view cottages and it was an absolute slice of heaven. In the middle of a jam packed busy travel schedule, this was exactly what we needed. The pool area is small but clean and idyllic. We enjoyed catching some rays in the late afternoon and then in the morning before checking out. Only two sunbed, but most of the hotel rooms have private pools so we didn’t find this affected us. The location is prime for the White Temple in particular. They offer free bikes which we used to cycle over for the final hour of opening, which was the perfect time for a quiet visit. We were tempted by the morning but we were too relaxed to get up and leave in the end. I anticipate the morning is even more of a quiet time to visit the temple though. You MUST get the Pad Thai. It was exceptional and different from any others we’ve tried. Definitely had their own twist on the dish which we loved. If you’re looking for a completely unique stay, outside of the tourist areas for one or a few nights, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. A final shoutout to the staff who immediately did a ‘nervous’ of our room after checking out, and returned my partner’s shorts which he’d left. Those are the touches that make all the difference to a stay. Thank you Doowall Hall!
