Everything inside the house was chosen and set up with a lot of care and attention. Beautifully decorated, our room was even nicer than on the pictures. Everything was spotless clean, the towels and the bed sheets and the room itself smelled very fresh. Breakfast was delicious and you can enjoy it in their garden right next to the river. It’s a gift to yourself to stay in this B&B.

Pool, large hot tub, and sauna. All the staff we encountered was first rate. We didn’t meet any of the owners or managers, but I’m sure they are fine. The location at the marina was fantastic for watching the boats and the people who live on them. The restaurant was excellent.

Set by a fortress from 1735, this waterfront hotel on Värmdö Island offers impressive views of Solöfjärden and the surrounding archipelago. We wanted a break from hard travel and are so glad we chose Fredriksborg. The rooms are very simple with a terrific outlook. The location is remarkable, on a hill above the deep water channel going in and out of Stockholm. The first time we saw a huge ship gliding by above eye level was a happy surprise. The dinner served at their restaurant was superb. But the best of all is the staff. They take great pride in the history of the location and its role in the defense of Stockholm in centuries past. Pontus (spelling ?) went out of his way to show us the property as well as to drive us to the ferry for the return to Stockholm. We were very appreciative.

Beautyfull place from inside and outside. Very clean rooms and surroundings. Helpfull and friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and there is a big terrace/garden where to eat. We are happy to come back!
