From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this hotel stands out. Located just a few minutes from Västervik Centrum, it boasts an unbeatable convenience. The staff truly is exceptional – attentive, friendly, and always eager to assist. Each meal was a delightful experience, with delicious food that exceeded our expectations. After a long day of exploring, sinking into the hotel’s comfortable bed felt like a luxury. But the cherry on top has to be the breathtaking view overlooking the Baltic Sea, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop that’s hard to put into words. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Dating back to 1881, this family-owned hotel is located in central Västervik, right next to Västervik Train Station. It offers individually decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi access and cable TV. The bed was so comfortable, it was like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was very good, and our hosts were very friendly.

This early 1800s castle is 10 minutes’ drive from Västervik. It offers fine dining, free spa access and a private beach. All rooms include free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Everything was superb. The best spa we have ever used. Dinner excellent. Room fabulous with amazing view. Comfy bed and quiet rooms. Staff on reception made us so welcome and attended to our every need. Compliments to Jamie in restaurant and Veronica at reception.

Situated within a 5-minute walk of Kalmar Castle and the city’s Central Station, this good-value hotel provides free WiFi. All rooms include a flat-screen TV. Couldn't have found a better location. The staff and services were outstanding. A light supper and beautiful breakfast buffet were included. What a treat!

This family-owned hotel is centrally located in the coastal town of Västervik, only 150 metres from the Västervik train station. It offers free Wi-Fi access. All as expected. The receptionist was very polite and quickly found a convenient place to lock our bicycles in. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is very well located - a mere 5 min walk takes you to Västervik waterfront. Make sure to book "Junior Suite with King Bed" rather than "Superior Double Room". We stayed at both within a few days, and the former has a much bigger bathroom and a remote control for adjusting your bed stiffness. Well worth the few extra kronor!

This eco-friendly hotel, about 400 metres from Västervik Central Station, is located on the waterfront. We really found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and helpful and most especially Isabella and Helena. They were both wonderful and made our stay even better.

Decorated so cute, but also was clean with helpful staff. Adorable restaurant on site. Bikes you can use to ride around the pretty downtown. Walking distance to the castle and beach.

Situated only 5 minutes’ walk from Kalmar Central Station, Best Western Plus Kalmarsund Hotell offers rooms with a flat-screen satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Kalmar Castle is a 15-minute walk away. Perfect location where we could walk to restaurants, shops, and the town square. The breakfast was amazing! It was the best breakfast buffet we've seen and it was included in the room rate. We were even able to park the car overnight around the corner for free.
