Ideally located in the historical center of Sibiu, this 4-star hotel is within 450 metres of the Council Tower of Sibiu, 250 metres of Albert Huet Square and 270 metres of Piata Mare. Very nice and friendly staff. The room was modern, no cheap furniture or utilities. The space was sufficient for one person. The location is great, in town center, but no traffic noise reaches the courtyard. The breakfast buffet was sensational, I had everything to choose from, plus a great coffee maker. Would recommend this hotel, I will definetely come back.

The Brukenthal is a stately palace from 1788, formerly used as the summer residence of Transylvanian Baron Samuel von Brukenthal. We were here 5 years ago, and were absolutely overwhelmed by this oasis of beauty. So glad to see nothing has changed, if only for the better. Excellent restaurant and breakfast. Excellent bathroom. This is one of my three favourite accommodations in the world, the other two being Stary Mlin in Upalty (Poland) and Ivan Apartments in Skopje. Too bad it is so far from home, but we will definitely be back nevertheless.

Very modern facilities in an authentic building, comes with a nice story, I loved the setting. Staff was very friendly and helpful, I was able to park (for free) right in front of the door. Self-checkin was a breeze.
