We enjoyed our 6 day stay in Shushupe's deluxe double room. It was a larger room size than most hotels offer in Tingo Maria. The hotel is located right in the heart of Tingo Maria. We were impressed with the wonderful, hospitable, and attentive hotel staff. The hotel has a roof top pool open until late hours with a beautiful view of the green mountains surrounding Tingo Maria. Also on the roof top, we had a generous breakfast included every morning with eggs, plantains, bread, cheese, marmalade, fruits, fresh papaya juice, hot cocoa, and tea. In addition, the hotel provided complimentary bread, hot cocoa, & tea every evening and 4 complimentary water bottles everyday. We will definitely pick Shushupe Hotel for our return visit.

Situated in Huánuco, 5.2 km from Heraclio Tapia Stadium, Terra Premium Hotel features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. Terra Premium appeared to be a new hotel. It is located about 10 minutes from the Central Park (Plaza de Armas). There were only two drawbacks: the bathroom and shower area were small (my husband is 6ft ) and there was no fan (the weather was warm and the room got a little stuffy. We opened the window, but that allowed all the traffic noise in!) The staff was wonderful and the service great.

Hotel Venecia is situated in Huánuco, less than 1 km from Heraclio Tapia Stadium. This 2-star hotel offers room service and a concierge service. I liked the location in a quiet street, no noisy motorcars, safe, clean comfortable and the staff working here are so polite, so friendly and very helpful all the time. There is a mall very close to the hotel where you find everything you need for shopping, food, entertainment. The main square or busy city center is only 5 min by mototaxi and it cost only 4 soles (€1). They surprise you with free breakfast every morning, they bring it to yoyr room. This place is also pet friendly, which makes it even more special. I'm enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back again. 🍀
