Det var en fredelig oase i jungelen, med private små strender hvor man kunne snorkle ut fra. Vi så et dovendyr i treet utenfor rommet og vakre fugler som fløy rundt området. Personalet gjorde oppholdet ekstra hyggelig. Så serviceminded. Variert, frisk og god mat og fantastiske drinker i baren!! Vi hadde ikke lyst til å dra fra denne plassen. Så vi forlenget oppholdet til 1 uke.

They have all been recruited for their genuine talent and connection and like and amazing orchestra everything flows and you just blend into nature. We loved David and Benjamin’s food, the amazing balance of the cocktails and the total communion with the beauty of the island and surrounding. Our swims and kayaks round the island allowed us to see dolphins, turtles and even an indigenous family in a neighbouring island. It merits its top 15 WW best new hotels in the world. Stay without hesitation and join paradise.

Bocas del Toro, Byen
Ble mildt sagt ganske skuffet da jeg kom tl Bocas del Toro. Det virker ikke som det er viktig for noen å rydde opp søppel i den byen. Først kom vi til båthavnen på andre siden der det lå et tykt lagt med søppel langs hele vannflaten og det første som møtte oss var to store rotter som løp rundt blant søppelet. Når vi kom til Bocas By var det ikke like ille, men hadde sett for meg noe helt annet i forhold til at Bocas var anbefalt så veldig på nettet. Byen har en del veldig hyggelig steder og veldig mange hyggelige mennesker, men sånn generelt er det en liten, skitten by som kunne vært hvor som helst. Har vært på flere flottere strandbyer enn dette. Vannet rundt sentrum frister sjeldent. Så for å bade må du ta en taxibåt (som det er mange av) eller sykkel/buss et stykke fra sentrum. Mange flotte steder rundt Bocas del Toro, men også mange flotte steder i andre land. Hyggelig å ha vært der, kjempe koselige mennensker og sett mye flott, men reiser nok ikke tilbake dit.
