The location is good to visit Jabrin and Bahla forts as well as the region (Jebel Shams, etc.). For the moment, there is no sign indicating the hotel since it's a new property, but the owner can be contacted via WhatsApp or phone. Both the owner and his son are very friendly and accommodating. We totally recommend staying there!

Nizwa Inn - نزوى إن is located in Nizwa, 5.8 miles from Nizwa Fort. This 2-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. I expected less when I saw it had only 2 stars. It looks more like a 4 star hotel. We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. It is clean, big room and has a pool and gym. If you stay here, definitely have a diner at Al Wazzan or order a breakfast for in the room.

For some reason I wasn’t looking forward to it, but it was great. The room was good, breakfast was good and the pool area for relaxing was really nice

In contact with us before we arrived, polite & keen to ensure we were comfortable during our stay & even returned my iPad to us in Muscat when they discovered we’d left it in the room following check-out. Located in Jabal Al Akhdar, Damask Resort provides a garden. This 4-star hotel offers a business center and a concierge service. Everything ! They upgraded us in a wonderful and romantic room. They decorated for the birthday of my girlfriend, so nice from the team :) The room was very confortable and clean, huge bathroom. The surrounding of the villa was very calm and we enjoyed a lot our stay. Special thanks to all the team, reception, restaurant, so friendly and always smiling! Green View Hotel, Jabal Akhdar in Jabal Al Akhdar has 2-star accommodations with a restaurant. Featuring a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. This hotel is an amazing deal. Super new, clean, and excellent service by the team at the front desk. We just needed a budget place to stay that was clean, and we didn't expect that we would also have such a beautiful view of the mountains from our room. The bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of storage space, and the wifi was great. In the back they have a small playground for kids as well, with swings and a trampoline. There is plenty of parking right in front of the hotel. Just a few minutes drive to the start of the roses hike. We will readily come back here for all future trips to Jebel Akhdar. The hotel is also walking distance from the main supermarket of the town, and there are many little restaurants nearby. In particular there is a delicious little Bengali restaurant nearby that was very popular for iftar. The gas station is nearby as well.

We even wanted to extend our stay one night, but there was no free room available. Great location for hiking!
