The Godley Hotel offers country-style accommodation in the alpine village of Lake Tekapo on the South Island. The hotel is centrally located in the village with views of the lake and mountains. Location was great Breakfast was great, lovely indoor and outdoor area

MacKenzie Country Hotel is located in Twizel, in the heart of the Aoraki Mount Cook and MacKenzie Country Region. It offers modern rooms with picturesque views of the surrounding mountains. The property is very well maintained even though is not new. The front desk is very helpfull. Good location.

The Heritage Gateway Hotel is situated in Omarama, at the crossroads of MacKenzie Basin, Lindis Pass and Waitaki Valley. It offers panoramic views and excellent hiking and biking opportunities. Hot breakfast buffet was the best we had on our trip to New Zealand. Can’t say enough how great the staff was!

Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. The location is spectacular and the room was lovely, clean and modern. Highlight of our tour of NewZealand so far.

I’m glad that there was a list of directions on how to work the washing/drying machine and dishwasher. I did some much needed laundry. The studio was spotless and new. It felt like I was staying in my own apartment. It was about a 45 min drive to Mt. Cook, but I enjoyed the drive.
