Located at the popular Geilo Ski Resort, this hotel offers traditional Norwegian food and wine tasting in the cellar. Leisure options include an indoor pool and large indoor playground. No breakfast available just cafe where you can buy sandwiches and coffee and take to your table. Would have been nice proper served breakfast. However the quality of food in cafe and the bakery were excellent as was the coffee. And friendly wonderful staff.

1909 Sportsbar er en naturlig møteplass for å se sport på storskjerm. Her er det muligheter for jubelscener kombinert med god mat og noe i glasset. The hotel looks amazing. It's over 100 years old but looks much better than new hotels. Classic design.

On first impression, we were a little skeptical due to the "rustic" appearance, especially of our room. However, it turned out to be a very pleasant stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful, the location beautiful and quiet. And the breakfast in the morning was deliciously served in a nice dining area.

This hotel is 10 minutes’ walk from Geilo Train Station. It offers a gym, sauna and pool. Free WiFi and private bathrooms are standard in Highland Lodge’s individually decorated rooms. Super clean, great water pressure in the shower and a great cup of coffee. Room also had a lovely balcony. One minute walk to center of town.

It's a really cozy and nice place with everything you need. We slept really good in this wooden cabin and the mountain air was fantastic. Breakfast is delicious. Just be aware that if you book a room with shared bathrooms you have to bring your own bed linen (or you can rent). It's is really calm area with no distraction.

Everything about Bjørkli Lodge was just perfect, no doubt the best accommodation of our entire long road trip. Located conveniently beside the main road few minutes from Geilo, it was convenient to find and park. You can tell there is a lot of love put into this home, there is so much attention to detail and everything has been picked with personality and charm. The flat is stocked with food, cooking equipment, toilet amenities, games and candles for hygge and even a surprise handmade 'gift shop' hihi. Alina was the most lovely host, made us feel right at home, and her two kittens Lulu and Rudy are the most cuddly cuties you will ever meet, they literally come to greet you at window in the morning and ask for snuggles, a true cat lover's dream. We will absolutely come back and stay here whenever we'll have the chance!
