Warm enough overnight and hauntingly gorgeous as one of few guests in the ice hotel itself. Breakfast was delicious- tons of local items. Highly recommend.

Set in Honningsvåg, 32 km from The North Cape, The View offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Excellent spot with view on Honningsvag, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean. Sauna, steam room and jacuzzi included and very nice. Breakfast was delicious, dinner too. Stayed here for new year's eve and day, can highly recommend!

Offering a boardwalk restaurant and terrace, this hotel is right by the water in central Hammerfest. Free WiFi access is available. I was very lucky with my room: I looked straight at the harbour and church from my bed. Free hot water and tea bags whenever needed. Otherwise everything was fine and kind of as expected for a big modern hotel - good wifi, friendly staff etc. The breakfast was nice. Location is brilliant, and I really liked Hammerfest, as it is not too small to be bored yet not as touristy/big as other towns in the North of Norway. I washed two items of clothing with the soap in the bathroom and they still smell nice even 4 days afterwards :)

If you want peace and quiet and a lovely view of the Altafjord - then this small family hotel is perfect for you! Nice clean room with a great view. Friendly stuff.

This central Kirkenes hotel is on the shore of Bøkfjorden, 900 metres from Hurtigruten Ferry Terminal. It offers free Wi-Fi and an à la carte restaurant with a seasonal menu. The location is good. If you are going to the quay of Hurtigruten, it might take you around 15 minutes with small luggages in winter by walking. The breakfast is great, multiple choices.

8 Seasons Hotel is offering accommodation in Varangerbotn. Offering free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking hotel has a fitness centre. My room (nr.3) was a cosy little room with a bed, tv, a table and a nice bath room. It was a nice room for a short stay and a single person. If you like to stay longer it might be better to have a larger room. The manager is very kind and try to make the stay as good as possible. Breakfast was very good with delicious marmelade and good bread.
