Room was big and clean (and was further cleaned every day), it was quiet, we had stabil wifi (and for those who need a quiet working space there is an extra working room), good breakfast (with different options to choose from), tv with Netflix and the staff was very nice and helpful (e.g gave good food recommendations and bus options). City center is in walking distance.

Dona Candida is a legendary host, who is working around the clock to look after everyone and make everyone feel at home. She cooks a beautiful breakfast and any other meal for very little extra ($1 for breakfast and $2 for lunch/dinner/supper) and creates a lovely relaxed homely atmosphere. She invited me to come into town with her when she was going in anyway, so we went on the local bus together for very little cost (6 Cordobas one direction) and she took me to the coffee museum and the cathedral and the park and a few shops in town, which was lovely. She also offered other outings, but I had other things in hand so did not go. She is very willing to have a chat at any time and just makes one feel at home. She is a legend!! :-) Her husband took his car out and gave their daughter and me a lift to the bus to Managua and had bought the bus tickets in the morning for us. You are truly treated as one of the family. Everything is spotless and the cost is very reasonable.

Hot water. Kitchen to use and make coffee, with fridge. Location is brilliant, right in town centre but quiet. 10 minutes walk from the bus station. We took a tour with them which again was brilliant.. Luck enough to coincide with a cowboy day. Literally hundreds of cowboys parading through the streets and everyone oartying. Closed down at 10.00pm

It is a great place to recharge. The food is healthy and delicious. Yes, the hill is quite a challenge but it's worth it.
