Set in La Laguna, 9.3 km from Mirador de Catarina, Pacaya Lodge and Spa offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. This was our second time at Pacaua Lodge. We love the hotel, the location, the pool and the amazing view of Apoyo Lagoon. The rooms are super nice. We had booked the suite this time around, simply wonderful. The food and drinks are excellent, too!

Fantastic accommodation, with direct access to the beautiful water of Laguna de Apoyo. Free access to kayaks and paddle boards. Room was very comfortable, with air conditioning. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Situated in La Laguna, 11 km from Mirador de Catarina, Coco Bay features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. It's a perfect place to relax. Situated directly at the lake you'll just grab your towel in the morning and go for a swim. You could just relax in one of the hammocks as well or grab a kayak which is included in the dorm price. People working here are super friendly and speak quite good English as well. Dorms are spacious with a big ceiling fan. Every bed itself has a little locker, lamp and fan. Bathroom with cold shower but due to the daily heat that's been alright. Breakfast (pancakes with fruit) is included for the dorm rooms. They offer lunch buffet and feature a bar. For one dollar you could get food delivered for dinner from the neighbouring hostel Paradiso as they do have an agreement with their kitchen. You can use the communal kitchen and cook yourself. If you wanna do that come prepared and bring your food as the next real shop with fruit and veggies is a taxi ride away. They do offer a meet and greet dinner with a set dish during the week for bout 8,50$ (7,50$ veggi) which is a great way to get to know the others staying here and the only food they offer for dinner.

Lovely accommodation, great pool, super friendly and helpful hosts. The food is spectacular, we’ll worth the visit just for the food. Fresh baked bread, artful use of ingredients. Just wonderful.
