The small, simple room was very clean (and so were the shared toilets/showers). The hotel has made an effort to make the place homey with a bit of decor inside the room and plants/decor throughout the property.. The wind and cold were fierce during our stay, so we were very grateful to have a good heater in our room (and they provide enough blankets). While the WIFI is only available in the reception/bar/restaurant area, it works well. Good to have a reasonably priced restaurant on site, as there are few eating options in Grunau (you can order your meals ahead to be ready at a certain time). We stayed for two nights while visiting Fish River Canyon as it is much more affordable than the places in/nearer the park (unless you are camping).

With sea views from every room, Lüderitz Nest Hotel features a private tidal beach and jetty, as well as an outdoor pool. A sauna, restaurant terrace and bar all overlook the Atlantic Ocean. Fabulous view and quiet due to the location!

Phyllicia is just such a nice person! The bed is comfy, the couch as well. Everything was clean and nice. It was just overall really great! 100% recommend!
