The rooms have a patio.... The location is remote, surrounded by a fantastic selection of wild-life. The grounds were immaculate! Even though most of the trees in the surrounding area are, what we call "Devil Thorn Trees", they were all raked away. The staff (shout out to Josie) were incredible. We were visiting with an infant and they made sure we were as comfortable as possible. I let the lodge know that we intended to braai (BBQ) the second night and they provided us with the braai drum as well as a bag of wood! 110% will be staying there again, next time for a week!

The uniquely designed Beach Lodge is located in Swakopmund and features a restaurant, bar and BBQ facilities. The hotel has a garden and offers uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean. Great beach hotel. It is what it says -- a great little hotel RIGHT ON THE BEACH. The pictures are true... our patio door walked right out onto that lovely green lawn and then to the beach. It was great that they offered a family room, it had a nice patio and small fridge and coffee/tea station. It wasn't the most elegant decor, but it was clean and completely met our needs for a beach get away. Free parking -- it was tight to get to our assigned spot, but the car gaurd was always on duty to help ease one into the space.
