Set in Pasikuda, a few steps from Pasikuda Beach, Sunrise Pasikuda offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. It is with great pleasure that I leave a review about the Sunrise Pasikuda Hotel! My family and I spent a wonderful 11 days-I didn't want to leave! The two-room family room turned out to be very large and comfortable: 2 bathrooms, a bathroom, comfortable ergonomic mattresses, clean linen, all(!) possible accessories for personal care and hygiene, coffee and tea in the mini-bar, which was replenished in the morning and evening, room cleaning 2 times a day, a spacious terrace with comfortable outdoor furniture, views of the beach and tropical park. Two small two-storey buildings of the hotel are located on the huge green territory of Sunrise Pasikuda Park, with giant palm trees and many other trees and plants, which adjoins a wide beach with snow-white sand. One of the best beaches we've ever seen. The beach is snow-white, spacious with a very hospitable ocean! The entrance to the ocean is on fine sand and a shallow bottom, without waves, which allows you to swim all day in peace. The part of the beach belonging to Sunrise Pasikuda has comfortable sun beds with soft mattresses and towels, which are kindly provided by the hotel. Sprawling trees with a vast and dense crown serve as a real salvation from the midday sun – thanks to the hotel staff for taking care of these beautiful trees. There is also a huge swimming pool on the territory of the hotel, which extends throughout the park: from the hotel buildings to the coastline. Fresh shower. Delicious breakfasts in the lobby restaurant. From the usual omelets to Ceylon exotics; an abundance of pastries, tropical fruits and freshly squeezed juices. We really want to thank all the staff of the hotel! The management of the hotel, the staff of the restaurant, the beach, the rooms, the gardeners, the reception. You have given us an unforgettable, wonderful experience! We did everything possible to solve our everyday problems and at the same time left the opportunity to be alone with our family and our journey.

Situated in Kallady, 200 metres from Kallady Beach, Sea View Resort features views of the sea. These little huts are the perfect accommodation for a couple, the staff are so incredibly lovely and helpful! It’s nice and close to the beach!

Very clean and new-feeling location, felt private and quiet. The bedroom was extremely clean, the bed was big and very comfortable, bedding was great, the air conditioning was excellent, shower was great. Walking distance from Kalkudah beach (not for swimming), very quick tuktuk to Pasikuda beach. Excellent food and juices, excellent staff. Best pool in Sri Lanka, swimming under the stars was magical. Many fruits, vegetables, and spices grown on the property. Amazing, caring staff.

Situated in Kalkudah, a few steps from Kalkudah Beach, Baden Beach Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. Sri, the owner, and his sisters run this hotel. They are the most caring and welcoming hosts and treated me like family. Sri has lived and worked in Switzerland for 30 years and speaks excellent English. The hotel is on the beach, which you have largely to yourself. Sri has an assortment of surf boards, bicycles, etc, which he lends to guests. Whilst I was there (4 days), the family were caring for their 92 year old mother who was recovering from a stroke, so they were not cooking. They did, however, cook me 2 meals which were the best curries I had in Sri Lanka. I fully recommend Baden beach and would return in a heartbeat.

Clean room and comfortable bed, good air conditioning, specially since it was so hot when we were there.
