One of the best places we stayed in Western Asia had a nice restaurant and bar where you could enjoy a river view. You could rent bicycles, motorbikes, and also take a kayak tour to see the dolphins.

Featuring a terrace, Tonle Mekong Homestay is located in Krong Kracheh in the Kratie Province region, 12 km from Phnom Sambok Pagoda and 38 km from The 100-Column Pagoda. We are a couple in our mid 60's and loved our 3 night stay at this homestay. The family are such fun and you literally feel like you are part of the family when you stay here. It is a totally authentic experience in an interesting location on the Mekong. There is a fruit and veg market right next door and the locals are friendly. The food served was to a very high standard and inexpensive. Beer is available and our room was comfortable despite not having aircon. They have motor scooters for hire if you want to travel the 15 km's upriver to see the dolphins, $6 per day. They also have their own tuk tuk and will happily drop you into town at no charge. We enjoyed the company of fellow guests and found the whole atmosphere at Tonle Mekong to be happy and casual. At $5.00 per night it must be one of the best value homestays in Cambodia. You are staying in a real Cambodian home with a kind and gentle family who seem to enjoy having you to stay. Highly recommended.

Set just 38 km from The 100-Column Pagoda, Dary's Village Guesthouse & Restaurant offers accommodation in Phumĭ Chŏng Kaôh with access to a bar, a shared lounge, as well as luggage storage space. Very clean room with a nice lemongrass scent when we arrived. Dary is very friendly and helpful. The bed and bedding are very comfortable, with a nice thick duvet. The pizzas are very yummy. The location is nice and close to the riverside.

Lovely homestay in Kratie. Great location, great food and friendly staff. The rooms are big and clean, and the most comfortable bed I have found while travelling!

Privada Lodge - Historic Hotel in Kratie provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. What a wonderful place! We had a great time here. Alex and his family are fantastic, kind and very helpful by all our needs. The room is big, very clean and in fantastic condition. The bathroom is great and the AC very quiet. We highly recommend this place!

Excellent guesthouse in a lovely restored old building - the guesthouse is really close to a night street food market which is great for dinner. The rooms are very clean and have both fans and air conditioning. Overall it is the best guesthouse in Kratié - it is close to the river and market but a little outside the main city area which means it is very peaceful and more full of local life.

Set amidst natural greenery just a 10-minute boat ride from Koh Trong Island, Soriyabori Resort offers a peaceful retreat in traditional Cambodian accommodation. It’s a little paradise, so relaxing to come here. The staff is very nice and helpful and the food is super good. The villas itself are very big and comfortable. The island itself is not so big but nice to do a bicycle tour around (about 10km), resort has bicycles you can borrow.
