Comfortable, good location slightly out of town, excellent breakfast Organizations of trips available, including mount Kenya. We went through Sirimon path and went on the other side with chogoria path to see both sides (which we really advise as the scenery is very different). The owner has good recommendations of guides who can come to discuss the trip and pick you up for departure. Material is available (gloves, jacket, etc) and you can leave your own bags or bikes at the hotel. We really recommend asking for Martin as a guide - kind, attentive, discrete but eager to talk about the country if wished.

Everything! ☀️ Le Rustique was an unexpected slice of heaven in Nanyuki. From the staff to the cottages to the cats, everything exceeded our expectations. The cottages are incredible - surrounded by trees and bush and greenery. Inside they are clean, spacious and comfortable yet also super cute and cosy. Housekeeping were exceptional - we were really impressed with their efforts and attention to detail. Furthermore, hot water bottles were provided which was just lovely. The whole atmosphere and environment cultivated at Le Rustique is just wonderful - you feel like you are at a wee lodge but with all creature comforts. The staff and restaurant was great. Food was superb and the staff were so friendly and lovely and welcoming. Thank you Maggie, Helen and Jeff (and all the others - I’m sorry for not getting your names!). They also have 3 cats who are residents of the hotel :) they are so well cared for by the staff and this was a highlight for us!
