Everything about this hotel from start to finish was wonderful. I arrived right at 3pm for check-in. The staff was welcoming. I put my shoes in the shoe locker and walked on tatami mats throughout the hotel in the Japanese socks they provided. My room was absolutely spotless, well-equipped with standard Japanese hotel room items and included a towel rack which was helpful after going to the onsens and it also had a great view. I put on my loungewear and headed to the onsens. Both group and 7 private onsens were varied with open-air and white water and different sizes. A few massage chairs were also available and free snacks were provided throughout the day. The location of this hotel is perfect. It's a two-minute walk from Beppu train station. There were plenty of cute restaurants, shops, bars, convenience stores and even a movie theatre in the immediate area. My bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The next morning was an incredible breakfast buffet. There was an unbelievable variety it was delicious. The hotel appears to be new. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here if you are coming to Beppu. Location, cleanliness, delicious food, lovely onsens, and comfortable bed. Everything was fabulous. I would gladly stay there again.

In a prime location in the Yufuin Onsen district of Yufu, 湯布院 おやど花の湯yufuin oyado hananoyu is located 47 km from Resonac Dome Oita, 2.7 km from Kinrinko Lake and 32 km from Beppu Station. The owner was very kind. Even if the hotel is far from train station and cannot walk to it, but the owner has a car and can pick up us. He brought us from train station to hotel and brought us to main walking street to Kirin lake.

Situated in Yufu, 48 km from Resonac Dome Oita, 旅館 竹屋 Takeya features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The location was perfect for me, 10 minutes walking from the train / bus station and on top of a light hill, so the view from our room was incredibly nice. (This also means that if you are going on foot you have to walk uphill, no big deal for us, but if you have heavy luggage it could be difficult). Both dinner and breakfast were japanese-style, but not too traditional on both taste and texture (I say this as a plus, because my partner is not keen on super traditional Japanese cooking and still managed to eat most of his breakfast). We were also offered non-meat options beforehand, which is great! The building is a mixture of western and japanese styles, so for example the common room has high tables and chairs and a parquet, while the rooms have tatami. Everything was lovely, the common area had a beautiful terrace with a view, our room had a small balcony with outside seats and a private onsen bathtub. The owner is a very nice man and we chatted during dinner. We speak good enough Japanese, so language wasn't a problem, but the owner also speaks good enough English and is very helpful. We had free access to coffee, tea and water from the common room and two complimentary water bottles in the room.

Beppu'da, Oita Bank Dome'a 25 km mesafede yer alan GALLERIA MIDOBARU'da bahçe, ücretsiz özel otopark, restoran ve bar bulunur. We loved everything about this property especially the terrace bath. Highly recommend staying here.

Yufu'da, Yufuin Motosiklet Müzesi'ne 2 km mesafede yer alan YUFUIN MONDAY'da WiFi erişimi ve özel otopark ücretsizdir. This hoteI is new and very clean. The owner of the hotel is a very nice and very helpful. I can see the beatiful view of the mountain from the window of the hotel. The private onsen is very impressive. I got lost because my GPS doesn't work and I got there late at night. Fortunately, I brought the phone number and the name of the hotel in Japanese. The owner is so nice to come to pick me up and take me to the hotel safely.

Niida'da Oita Bank Dome'a 41 km uzaklıkta yer alan Kur Park Nagayu bahçe, ücretsiz özel park yeri, teras ve restoranı ile konaklama olanağı sunmaktadır. Superb service from the staff, especially Ms Yen and Ms Chabani Gopali and the chefs who made us two delicious dinners/breakfast the two nights we were there. Good onsen baths and good fun in the "walking" onsen and outdoor warm pools. Cabin was spacious and very comfortable. A big thank you for a very relaxing stay.

The rooms are huge. Those who have travelled around Japan would know that most hotel rooms are the size of a shoebox, but this had more an apartment / western hotel feel. The room has a two seater couch, a 70” TV, two king single beds, a wet room featuring a hot tub (with jets), a dedicated toilet, automatically retracting black out blinds, adjustable beds, stand-alone AC, mood automatic lighting, fridge, convection oven, and a well equipped bathroom (which included a Dyson hair dryer). I stayed in two rooms, and they were essentially identical. Located a short drive from a Family Mart and McDonalds. Free off-street parking. Quaint eating area for breakfast, although meals look like they are prepared offsite. There is a service balcony in the rooms you can access if you’re a smoker, but you wouldn’t spend time out there.
