The location is perfect - away from the actual main street, but only a little way up one of the hills that lead up to the residential areas. I'm not particularly fit, but definitely didn't have to use one of the donkeys that transport luggage up to the steeper parts of the town, and didn't hesitate to wander up and down to the cafes and shops. The accommodation is lovely - there is art work on the walls, and the opportunity to help yourself to tea and coffee. I was surprised and delighted to be greeted with orange juice when I sat on the little terrace in the morning.

Hotel Amaryllis smešten je na pogodnoj lokaciji na samo par metara od luke na ostrvu Hidra. Hotel poseduje terasu za sunčanje. U pojedinim sobama je dostupan besplatan bežični internet. Mr.Mihalis and the staff were all wonderful and very accomodating. We were even able to check in early and switch rooms since one was available. All of our concerns were met with a smile and the service was great. I thought it was a great value.

Boasting magnificent views overlooking Hydra, the recently renovated Hotel Hydra is a turn-of-the-century building set in the heart of the island of Hydra. Quite a great location with a nice view to town, breakfast was simply amazing. And the staff was super nice and very pro active. When due to a rainy day the terrace was unavailable for breakfast they prepared a breakfast tray for us, which was plenty and high variety of selection.
