A cooked Full Scottish and à la carte breakfast can be enjoyed at the property.... the owners are on sight & do everything they can to make sure your stay is what you hoped for. We had a nice bottle of wine overlooking the bay & had a chance to chat with our host. Our 20 something daughter& her boyfriend enjoyed it as well

Set in Oban, 700 metres from Corran Halls, No.26 By The Sea offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. This 4-star hotel features free WiFi and a bar. We stayed in six different hotels on our visit to Scotland. This was the best one. We were greeted by a lovely and smart Australian lady who explained everything we needed to know about our stay in Oban. This hotel had no lift but the staff are more than willing to help you with your luggage should you wish so. The hotel itself is a lovely period house with a lovely view of the sea. The living room is to die for, I could sit there all day just staring out of the window. The room is very trendy and original. The shower room was quite spacious and stocked with all the toiletries you need. We had a lovely breakfast, cooked to order but they also bring a small tray with a mini croissant and a juice at your door before you go down for breakfast. They have a well stocked bar in the living room which is unmanned, you just write down the drinks you have and your room number so its aptly called the honesty bar! The location is around 15 minuted on foot to the city centre, the walk itself is lovely.

The Hotel is owned and run by people from the Island Community. That's a wonderful thing because it means that the hotel is connected to the place in which it is situated and Iona is a very special place. The Staff are sound, the food was great and the location is wonderful. The three of us travelled by bicycle from Oban. We will be back for sure. Go raibh maith agaibh go léir.
