Guests staying in Anglesey also loved the views from their rooms at Victoria Hotel by Chef & Brewer Collection, The Bulkeley Hotel, and Bold Arms.
I stayed for one night at the Boat House Hotel. The room I stayed in was en suite with a magnificant sea view. The room and bed was clean and comfortable. The host was extremely hospitable. Offering help and advice re: public transport and local places of interest. I had dinner at the Boathouse Hotel restaurant. I chose the delicious sea food lasagne and rosemary roasties with a salad. The portions were generous, and it was reasonably priced. I plan on staying at the Boathouse Hotel the next time I'm on Anglesey.
Myself and my wife spent another 3 nights in the Bull Hotel, and again we loved it. Staff are so friendly, rooms are warm, comfortable and the bed is fantastic. The food is also very good with a good choice on the menu, without being overloaded. The Bull is also located almost bang in the centre of Ynys Môn (Anglesey) so its very convenient. And only 20 mins from the ferry terminals in Holyhead. We will definately return in the near future. Diolch yn fawr i chi gyd yn Y Bull, thank you all at the Bull.
This was our second visit & this time we took our small dog with us. Everything was perfect, from the superb, clean & comfortable room but also, the friendly, attentive staff & the excellent food...they even had a cooked sausage for our dog! Another lovely thought was the 'welcome pack' for our dog which included some treats & a tennis ball to play with. We will certainly will be coming back to the Lastra Farm Hotel for ALL our future visits to Anglesey!
Holyhead
Fantastic apartment, very central location to visit the beautiful coastline of Anglesey. Really helpful, welcoming hosts who communicated well. Everything we needed in the apartment, was a very relaxing stay. Loads of takeaways, shops and pubs nearby making it easy to not to have to travel far. We really enjoyed this coastline, loads of beautiful, unspoilt beaches. Southstack lighthouse is definitely worth a visit.
Lovely location overlooking the Menai Straits. Nice meal in restaurant in the evening followed by a good breakfast with vegetarian options served by a friendly waitress. All in, an enjoyable stay in a nice location. The staff were all trying very hard to be professional, the food was good and accommodation a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend the Gazelle Hotel as a good place to stay on Anglesey.
Benllech
Fantastic apartment, beautifully decorated to a high standard. Everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Spacious, with stunning views over the bay and Snowdonia range beyond. Easy walk to the beach and Red Wharf Bay along the coastal path. Plenty of eating places in Benllech, however, several were closed due to time of year. Highly recommend this apartment as an ideal place to explore the Anglesey.
The room was very spacious and extremely modern and clean. Breakfast was excellent and the only reason for not eating in the restaurant was that we prefer to eat earlier. The Hotel itself is a beautiful building, in a lovely location and well situated on Anglesey for visiting all the island locations. The staff are so friendly and helpful and this all goes to make a relaxing stay.
Everything was fabulous from the communication with the owner regarding directions of how to find the property, to the comfort and cleanliness of the whole house. We loved the quirky design pieces that decorate the apartment, and all the appliances were top of the range. It was a great place for exploring the Anglesey countryside and we would definitely love to stay there again.
Very comfortable hotel in a convenient location on Anglesey for exploring the island or visiting friends; Welcoming and helpful landlord; Spacious car park; The room was attractive and warm, leading to a good and efficient shower room; Reliable wi-fi and ample provision for tea-&-coffee; Breakfast was well served in the bar area. A most enjoyable few days in Wales.
FIRST time at Amlwch and used as base for the Island of Anglesey. The Hotel was ideal, evening meal was brilliant and value for money along with the price of Ale, for a HOTEL! brilliant. Breakfast was also pleasurable, having experienced the evening meal, Staff were friendly on the back of our Hosts Gary/Veronica being very courteous, and nothing was trouble.
