We stopped here for one night as we traveled back from Normandy, leaving for the airport the next day. Beautiful building that was 14th century monastery. The property is gorgeous! Booked 2 rooms which were clean, simple and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Kevin greeted us and checked in on us during our brief stay - he was helpful with giving us the history of the location and recommendations for dining and travel. Would definitely stay here again.

Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel.... Small but cozy. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and tidy bathroom. This experience alone makes me want to come visit Chantilly again. I envy the French to have a such easy, convenient get away trip with such prime location for stay.

The greeting on our arrival was extremely warm, and curteous. The room was large, warm and ideally equipped for our stay. The restaurant for dinner had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the food was delightful. Equally breakfast the following morning could not be faulted. The owners were charming and inviting, we found them to be the perfect hosts. Overall this was the best hôtel we have visited in many years.

The Cathedral both externally and internally was one of the finest and most absorbing that I experienced from travelling widely across Europe. The guide of what to see inside was excellent which made the viewing of the inside of the Cathedral particularly rewarding. Some very interesting architecture in the old town and main streets. Excellent base for visiting the Somme Valley and Picardy.

It is a good centre but also adelightful place to visit with lots to see and fo. We visited Parc Martquenterre and saw amazing birds. The museum of Picardy was fascinating and the mini golf was great fun. Lots of good restaurants at excellent prices.

A lovely town, easy drive from Calais. Great to just wander around the streets Unfortunately it rained the entire day I was there (last year had five days sunshine). I would not particularly recommend the Picardy Museum except as somewhere to go to get out of the rain. Visit the little Garden in the middle of town if weather permits.

Considering Amiens was shelled in both the first and second world wars it is amazing how much of the earlier architecture has survived. The cathedral has to be the most impressive in France and the surrounding countryside along the Somme is beautiful. Unfortunately our visit coincided with both the Picardy History museum and the Bernay fine art museum being shut for redevelopment (due to reopen in summer 2019?). We ate in a couple of good restaurants - Ozmos was great as was Le Auberge Le Pre Porus (under new Management) out in Les Hortilonages. The food at Le Quai was ok but very poor service. We were blessed with hot sunny weather for our whole trip so not sure how we would have perceived Amiens in the cold and wet! The journey down the D road from Calais via Hesdin to Amiens was a fantastic drive through beautiful unspoiled countryside and the traffic was incredibly light compared to Kent! This part of France is well worth exploring and so close to home. Let’s hope Brexit doesn’t affect our future relations with the French!

The staff were so kind and helpful. The choice of the decor is stylish. Parking facilities are excellent located just across the road. The location of the hotel is superb. We really look forward to our next stay in this hotel.

We reserved this place for two nights (weekend). It was good and relaxing. We saw a few things that is good to know before reservation because the description in booking is a bit different. 1. This hotel has amazing staff you can ask whatever you need to know and they are available always. 2. If you have an electric car you can charge it for free 3. We reserved junior suite and understood this hotel has a base on top of the hill and the rooms are spread in the area, for us was about 4 mins walking. But consider if you want to use jacuzzi you have to walk with rope, or if you want to use restaurant for meals it needs walking 4. For breakfast you have the option to eat in the room free of charge which is good. 5. In the description of the Hotel you see that a price is mentioned for lunch and dinner, but it’s not true. You pay for whatever you order and there is no included lunch or dinner 6. We had dinner at the restaurant, the quality was ok but if there are a lot guests at the restaurant expect a good amount of delay. For us they forgot about one of our order and we received it very cold and late, but the manager brings a new hot one and even excluded it from the final price. 7. On the booking page says it has a gym but the nearest gym is about 5 km. 8. One of our facilities in the room was mini bar but there was no fridge in the room. At the end we didn’t get if it was broken and they removed it or the facility list on booking was wrong. But we asked for ice to have cold water and they provided with bucket of ice 9. There is a damp smell in the room that makes sense because the hotel is close to the sea.

The location is beautiful right on a gorgeous lake absolutely full to the brim with wildlife such as swans, ducks, heron, beavers, and more. The water park is awesome with fun slides for different ages, wave machine, lazy river, rapid river, and a play area with slides and another for very little children. The kids loved it in there. They also loved the indoor golf, the Jeep safari and the Pony rides. There were a few outdoor play structures and the beach is also very nice. The food at the restaurants was good but we ate at the lodge more often for convenience and frankly greater choice from home cooking.

Great location, comfy bed and pillows. Easy to park at the front around 9 euros for 23 hours, changing to 24 hours did jump it up to about 25 euros so would recommend doing less and adding on if needed. Staff were very friendly, a great stay.

I can only say exceptional, even with the language barrier. I was on my charity cycle ride from Bollington to Paris and needed to find a hotel nearby and I felt I won the jackpot. One of the nicest rooms I have stayed in and I have been to many hotels. Although not strictly a hotel they also had a swimming pool and Jacuzzi which helped repair my weary legs. Loved the fact there was plenty of USB sockets, very much needed these days, nothing seemed any trouble the owner even drove me to the local village to get a pizza. Also a shout out to the young girl serving breakfast, if you ever come to London and want help do not hesitate to contact me.
