Very charming hotel, breakfast was great, rooms small but comfortable. You can pay additionaly for 1h private using sauna, jakuzzi and ice swimming, since the location of hotel right next to frozen lake. Nearby you can rent snowmobiles and snowshoes, there are nice trails on lake and through the forrest.

Offering ski-to-door access next to Ylläs Ski Resort, this property is 100 metres from the Iso-Ylläs ski lift. It features spacious rooms with a drying cabinet, wifi and flat-screen TV. Loved the location, the staff were helpful and friendly and the pool was exceptionally clean and very relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and we can't wait to stay here again!

Hotell Ylläshumina asub kaunis kohas Äkäslompolo järve ääres ja Äkäslompolo küla lähedal. Fairytale hotel, wonderful to be holed up there in the winter with the snow falling all around. Food was great (amazing breakfast, gorgeous dinners), nice sauna, handy for skiing and other activities (ski bus takes you direct to the slopes in about 15 mins and is pretty regular.) Rooms spacious, well designed and clean, comfy beds and decent shower. It’s the staff though that really made the difference. A happy family of people who went out of their way to look after me, a warm welcome at reception and bending over backwards to look after me at dinner…as a solo traveller it means the world.

Well situated; near the lake, which is an excellent spot for Northern lights (w/o street lighning) and very close to good Snowfunsafari where we booked all our excursions, next door to a gourmet restaurant Poro. The breakfast of the hotel if excellent, large variety of dishes. We enjoyed local and continental breakfast (our doughters loved the self made gauffres :-) We did not test the dinner. We also loved there were available slides and local "potkuri" to have a ride on the snow.
