It was really a good place to stay if you want to reveal some beauties of the Basque country, not only Bilbao. 5 minute walk to the nearest beach, 15 minutes by metro to San Mames bus station, close to the metro station Areeta (2 minutes walk), a lot of bars and restaurants around full mainly of local people. Close to the Biskaia Bridge. Accomodation easy to find,very clean, enough space, air conditioned, late check in possible. We did not have windows to the street which was appreaciated, the other side might be more noisy during night

This is an excellent hotel, one of the best I have ever stayed at. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, very helpful and friendly. The rooms were perfect size, impeccable and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing, excellent variety and quality. The attendants were solicitous and friendly… the views os Bilbao from almost every space were gorgeous, I can't say enough good things about this hotel, highly recommend it and will absolutely return to it on my next visit to the Basque Country,

Out of all the hotels I stayed in while visiting the Basque Country, this hotel was the best one! I would without a doubt come back and stay in the same room we booked. Everyone was friendly; they accommodated us with a parking spot last minute. It was clean and the room was much bigger than I anticipated. The view was fantastic and near a major beach and hiking trails. The other beach was about a 25-30 minute walk but it was perfectly fine. The breakfast was great and the accommodation was comfortable.

The location is a big highlight of the property. There are coastal walking trails, a park and a picturesque beach nearby. On top of that the apartment itself is wonderful. The apartment has top quality appliances so cooking meals is easy as well all the furniture is modern. Every thing is well thought out and the attention to detail is phenomenal. Fernando was easy to contact and he had a lot of great suggestions. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Bermeo and the Basque Country.

We were just looking for a place to stay close to the airport before flying home after a road trip around Basque country - and found this little gem of a hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean, modern and central. The staff were fantastic -so pleasant, helpful and attentive. We had dinner there twice - food & service were excellent on both occasions. Nice promenade and beach in Plentzia and a good base to explore surrounding area. Also train/metro stop for Bilbao is close to hotel.

You cannot beat the location, the views over the harbor from the room are just wow!!! Staff is super nice and accommodating. Breakfast is all homemade and delicious. We stay at least once a year and will continue doing so. Getaria is a must see if you visit the Basque Country and spending 1-2 nights at Katrapona is the best way to enjoy this beautiful fishing village, and one of the best cuisine in the world And don't forget Getaria was Elkano and Balenciaga's hometown.

The house and apartments are perfectly equipped and designed with eye for detail. Breakfasts were delicious and on request vegan & vegetarian options were provided. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also the location was ideal! One can both just stay and enjoy surrounding greenery, silence and calming views or explore Basque Country and Bilbao that is just a few minutes away. All in all, I loved the place and definitely want to come back in the future.

3 of us stayed for 3 nights as we travelled around the Basque country and just loved the city of Bilbao. The apartment was very spacious and the 2 bathrooms are a massive plus. The apartment is spotless clean so is clearly well maintained. We loved the old town area which was never too busy with plenty of pinxtos bars to satisfy everyone. Felix the host was great to communicate with and even organised a taxi for us to go to the airport on departure.

Very good place for few night accomodation for visiting Donostia. 10 minutes walk to railway station and every 30 (sometimes more) minutes train to the very center of Donostia. Travel takes 18 minutes and 2,2 €. Apartment amazing, extremely clean , confortable, all necessary accessories best condition. Easy to find, easy to communicate with host, very safe apartment and privat parking. Strongly reccomed for all guests of beautiful Basque country.

Located just out of the centre of Lekeitio, w/in easy walking distance of the beautiful harbour, AND very close to one of the best restaurants in all of the Basque Country! Room was again very comfortable, in fact, they upgraded us to a suite. Very cozy bar and casual eating place around a roaring open fire. Staff were very helpful, especially when my partner needed help negotiating a parking ticket!

The apartment is lovely decorated and comes with a lot of appliances. In special I would like to mention the washing machine. I came here for cycling in the Basque country, so a washing machine really came in handy. The owners respond super fast through WhatsApp and the Booking app. They speak fluently English and are very sweet. This apartment is not the cheapest on the market, but it has great value for money.

Though the apartment is on 4th floor, it offers an excellent holiday place away from home; the kitchen is well equipped, has comfortable beds which can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children. The beach is just a stone’s throw from the apartment and groceries for daily stuff within a walking distance. The communication with the host was wonderful- given us plenty of tips what to explore in the Basque Country.

Great hotel in a good central location for the centre of Zarautz, a really vibrant example of Basque Country. Very helpful lady on the reception provided good useful information as to where to eat as the day we arrived it was the celebration of Basque independence. Family run restaurant next door well worth eating at. Secure underground parking under the hotel great for our motorbike.

Wonderful hosts, very warm, welcoming and helpful. We received great tips about visiting the Basque Country, the country, language and also about great places to eat. Excellent restaurant / pintxos bar next door. Walking distance to the beach and near to the city centre. Nice breakfast available on demand. There was no self-parking garage, but the valet service was very prompt.

This hotel has incredible views in a natural environment of forests and very close to the big cities of the Basque Country like Bilbao or Vitoria.. Good breakfast and fantastic dinner with options of vegetables from hotel's garden, fish or meat. The room is spacious, comfortable, large bed and fantastic view of the natural park. Very good and close service from the owners.

We were on a trip of the Basque Country and Asturias this was by far the best hotel we stayed at on our trip. It is recently refurbished, the rooms were spotless clean, spacious and beautiful with tasteful fittings and furniture. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on. I would recommend to anyone traveling to Vitoria. Truly an excellent stay!

Great apartment for exploring Basque country. Excellent fit for family with 2 kids. Very well equipped with all necessary kitchenware. We visited Azpeitia during festive week and parking car required some creativity. Be prepared to be waken up by marching musicians along old city at 9am on Sunday. It was fun though.

The location of this hotel was perfect. The lady that greeted us was really helpful. She did not speak much English but tried really had and was patient with us when we tried to speak to her with our beginners Spanish. The room had a stunning view across the Basque Countryside. The bathroom was clean and modern.

The hotel is on a great location with spacious rooms and clean environment. The breakfast is recommended, it's full of quality ingredients and amazing tastes. Staff is very nice and helpful. Highly recommended if you are staying in the capital of Euskadi / Basque Country.

Very nice place in the historic lively center, with bedroom removed far enough from the main street to be completely quiet. Hosts kind and attentive, prepared the apartment excatly to our needs plus gave recommendations locally and elsewhere in Basque country. Thank you guys!
